I think the real question about this season is if they are going to make Cisco ridiculously OP when he starts to realize his powers or if they are going to keep them simple. Will he be the Vibe that can theoretically shake the Earth apart and can stop the Flash in his tracks, or is he just going to be the Vibe that can track inter dimensional portals?

This is risky. To avoid confusion in the Green Arrow they went with the goofy hair. It worked. But in the Flash having the same actors running on two earths will be hard for the average viewer to follow, I think. It's bold. Fun to try. But I can barely keep everything straight with time travel, let alone parallel universes where you can time travel in both universe. The Comic book fans will be fine. But the average Joe West and the kids I think are going to struggle to keep it all together.
I don't think you're giving the audience enough credit. I can't speak for anyone else, but part of the fun is figuring out just what the hell is happening.
Ok So here is my early theory: Zoom is alternate Barry. In the alternate time line Barry's mom is not killed by reverse flash. But something will happen (as a result of Barry's mom being alive) which will turn alternate Barry evil and into Zoom. That is why future Barry warns current Barry not to safe his mom (at the ending of season 1). I actually do not have any comic book knowledge, So I have No idea what Zoom's story is. Who is with me?
Good theory, but could they travel between worlds before the singularity? I have also not read the comic books, but I think it was Flash from Earth 1 warned him from another time. I really hope Zoom is Eddie from Earth 2.0. His character should have been bigger leading up to his sacrifice, the man deserves more air time. And I also wonder why no one on the show has thought about Firestorm being sucked into Earth 2 when they shut down the singularity, instead his ex is fawning over some newb. I personally dont like the Flash from E2,0 but its hard to deny they really took that straight out of the comics so I'll let it go for all the comic book fans.
arno_ed's theory all takes place on Earth-2. He was only using Earth-1 story line as a reference. If Earth-2 Barry saved his mom that same night she was attacked maybe there is no future Barry on Earth-2. Or maybe Earth-2 Barry ignores Earth-2 Future Barry and goes back in time and saves his mother anyway and events turn him into Zoom No they couldn't travel between world before the singularity. It's only the 3rd episode they might come to that conclusion later in the season. Caitlin was crushing on Barry the last time her hubby was declared dead, so right in line with her character, lol I love Earth-2 Flash.
Yes thanks for explaining, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. So my theory is: Zoom is Earth-2 Barry. Earth-2: Barry's mom doesn't die (either gets saved or just isn't in the same trouble), as a result of his mom living something happens in Earth-2 Barry's life which turns him evil -> Zoom is born . Earth-1: Future Barry has met Zoom (earth-2 Barry) during this season. So in the future he remembers what happened to Zoom. Therefore he decided to make sure season 1 Barry does not safe his mom. Thereby he tries to avoid season 1 Barry to experience the same thing Earth-2 Barry experienced ,which turned earth-2 Barry into Zoom. As a result of this Earth-1 Barry does not turn evil. I hope this makes it a bit more clear

Last night's Episode has a bunch of problematic things going on for me. It was kind of pissing me off Rocket River

The Chick's attitude all show (She was being an elitist b*tch) 3. Dope Fiend Mom and Iris . .. a tire old trope (I guess we know why wally west is not as fast) 4. The Sharkman roaming the streets unnoticedwas kind of crazy collectively it was just irratating Rocket River
Spoiler 1. Screw the red tape, for seriously. No problem with this at all. Time was a factor and do we really need to see the dialog and act of them taking blood? 2. Agreed 3. + Wally West if that matters, i did like the way Iris handled the situation though (moreso between her and dad than druggie mom), shes been eh to me this season, this made me like her a little more, but overall unnecessary. 4. TBH i forgot about the shark man until the last minute too. CGI was amazing tho so it gets a pass from me, but yeah if Wells was able to track down the shark man you would assume others would have seen it.
