Couldn't feel worse for these guys. Cueto's strong outing aside. KC's runs came because:

1.) Cain reaches base on an accidental, check-swing bloop
2.) Cain then scores 1 run FROM FIRST BASE on a soft SINGLE to CF because Gomez slips and falls down
3.) Rios, the 9-hitter, hits a ball in the dirt close to home plate that ends up a 2-RBI double because it hugs the line and stays fair by a fraction of an inch
4.) Rios then scores 1 run after said incident when he's small-balled in

Meanwhile, since all that insanity, the Astros have put FIVE balls in play and every single one of them has been run down. Not one dropped. Just ridiculous.

I'd also like to point out that Correa is a 21yr old rookie. If anyone is anything other then simply pumped about what he's done and his future they are out of their mind.

Somehow get a lead and then let Keuchel close it.

Some of you are insufferable. The Astros are the youngest team left in the playoffs. Almost no one on the team had any playoff experience. Every single person that is asked praises the Astros on overachieving. This is valuable experience for our young guys, experience they weren't expected to get. They lost the lead late in two games? It happens. Especially against the Royals who have a TON of experience after they lost in the world series just last year.

I just can't believe that Altuve is going to end the season 0-16 or whatever he is now. If we can just get to Correa with a man on.

Put someone out there who closes his eyes and just sticks the bat out.

Hilarious that you'll find a way to complain about Hinch in a situation where nobody is giving up runs (or hits/base-runners for that matter).

I missed the post where you suggested taking McHugh out after 3 and putting in Fiers to start the 4th.

I hate to be that guy...

..you have to consider getting conger in there. Castro fine defender but you need offense.

This. And not taking out a hurt Gomez for a defensive replacement in Marisnick in the 8th inning up by 4!!! And starting a hurt Gomez in CF AGAIN tonight. Sorry but I've seen a lot of mismanagement by an inexperienced Hinch. I like him. Glad the Astros made the postseason. Not happy with some of the lack of roster moves late in the season. Not happy with some terrible managerial moves. AND he pinch hit a hurt Gonzalez with 2 on when we could have used some insurance just because he wanted Margo to get in the game.
