I expected a bit more from Dekker in a game like this.

Thanks to dekker missing 2 FTs in a row (I think it was dekker), I get free Carl's Jr. now.

I shoot right handed but dribble my free throws with my left hand.

I don't know why but my left hand is my better dribbling hand. It makes no sense because it's literally the only thing in the world that feels more natural with my left hand.

    So will kj.

Maybe give Dorsey another shot down the road when we get Durant. Having him on the team means better players for Dorsey to play with. More hiding his weaknesses.

As much as I would like to believe this, what I saw tonight was Dekker trying to be in a position to not get the ball. I don't think he believes in himself at this point in time. Hopefully a year in the D League will fix that. He cannot play in the NBA until he believes in himself.

I will take Montrezl over Dekker anytime. He plays with confidence and wants the ball. That is the difference.

As for KJ, he has the attitude and can be a good NBA player but still needs to find his place on this roster.

Dekker and Montizzle will get their chance. These fringe players need to go all out. And a guy like KJ needs to go outt and prove himself. I really hope KJ can crack the regular rotation.

Have not missed a single minute of any preseason game so far. My assumptions are based on what I have watched unfold before my eyes.

Capela - Solid future in the NBA. Already one of the best players from the 2014 draft and an absolute steal for the Rockets. Glad he made the Rockets bring him over last year.

Harrell - Solid future in the NBA. Needs sometime in the D. League but like Capela last season he could be a solid role player at the end of this year. I think he eventually he will be a Beast. Good draft pick for the Rockets and may eventually be another draft steal. Love his length, attitude and motor.

McDaniels - Highlight reel role player in the NBA. At this time he is not as good as he thinks he is. Plays with energy and has the potential to be a solid rotation guy. Needs to find his place on the team.

Dekker - Long way to go for Sam. From watching him, he does not seem to be comfortable with his playing abilities at the next level. He needs a full year in the D League and if he works hard and takes it seriously could be a solid role player in the NBA. His game does not yet transition well to the NBA game.

Yes it is early but each player has been able to play a lot of minutes. You can tell when a player has "it" or not. We know Capela has it. in only 2 games, to me Montrezl has shown a lot of potential. K.J. is close but is not over the hump yet, he has potential but I only see him as a role player so far. Dekker has not shown much at all but I expect a year from now we could be an important Rocket player. He could also turn out to be an end of the bench kind of guy for a few years.

Why do you use the phrase "role player" as something bad ? Every player can't be a star or have star potential.

So far Dekker looks like a smaller, less talented version of Keith Van Horn. Not seeing it yet, hope I am wrong.
