    Harrell is already signed. There is one roster spot that Joshua Smith, Denzel Livingston, Jeremy Tyler and Chris Walker are competing for. It's clear that Smith is winning.

    I never thought of brewer as a guy who can run an offense, it would be nice to have a sf with some consistent playmaker abilities but I'm just tryin to have it all I guess

    How does Harrell look? I found out a couple weeks ago I'm blacked out of the games but maybe I'll try to reup my ballstreams tonight

    I think the problem is that Bev may not be playing a lot of minutes with those guys.

    If he's coming off the bench like he should then he will be playing with a lot of the same guys he's playing with tonight.

    And even when he's playing with one of Harden or Lawson his lack of playmaking is still an issue hence why we got Lawson in the first place and why Harden asked for more help in the back court.

    Even last year Bev had taken a step back in his effectiveness.

    Fact is, we need him to play better. We need that hustle and extreme defense back. If he plays like this in the regular season with whoever is on the court it will hurt us some.

    Maybe when the games punt for real he'll turn it up a notch.

    He isn't. But if Harden/Ty/DMo are all healthy and available, I think we are pretty set.

    I know. Capela also came from a way diff level of competition. I just didn't like the dekker pick originally. If he pans out, I was wrong & I'll be happy. I just feel at 17, we could of went with something diff.

    He looks like a rookie. He's been in foul trouble it's his second pro game so it's understandable.

    I'm pretty sure the coaching staff understands his lack of playmaking ability and likewise understands his strengths. It's their job to put it all together and develop a rotation/minutes distribution that maximizes strengths and mitigates weaknesses -- IMO, it makes sense to wait for that before you start calling for trades, but that's just me.

    Was hoping Chris Walker had a chance but it's looking unlikely. Hopefully he latches on with another squad. It's been a tough road for him.

    I'm thinking Smith has a real chance to make the team. We need a third string center. I'm trying to picture this guy if he lost about 30 more pounds. He would still be huge, but he would have more stamina.

    He knows how to play, that's for sure.
