    Dude was real humble and genuine. I remember a few years back Lamar was trying to bond with his dad but he was a crackhead.

    I really hope he pulls through this without too much longterm damage. This is not how you want to go out. Not at 35.

    If you went out like this at 85, well, hat tip. But 35 is so young.

    I can't help but think, when I hear about these types of sitatuions, how everyday, potential like this fades and crashes and burns in thousands of people across the country. No direspect to Odom, but it's extremely disappointing how these types of things happen to people from all walks of life everyday.

    I think what makes it even more sad is the fact that someone like this is in a position to reach out and be an advocate, a role model, and a real potential game changer. Here's to hoping Odom comes back, stronger than ever, rises up, and uses his platform to speak out on such issues.


    As I said, I hope he pulls through.

    Even if things have been downhill for the last couple of years, he was one of the X factors in the Laker title runs and cool dude off the court for the most part

    So he couldn't get on the helicopter and had to be driven to Sunrise in Vegas? Damn. That is a far ride and not a great hospital. The situation seems grim.
