I'll admit i thought Harden didn't have the Kobe-ish gene when we traded for him, but he's impressed me every year, with the way he's improved. It's not just the teampushing him, but him pushing himself and that's great to see/hear. We need to have Chipotle on the bench. Super Harden for 41 games.
Amin is a major tool. Never comes across as a sophisticated guy in anything he writes, even if it is true that James thirsts for fame. But that wouldn't necessarily set him apart from today's NBA stars.
I still have no f'ing clue why people dislike Harden's game. Early last season we saw he was playing MVP caliber, and he continued to play MVP caliber all season, and what more can you want but MVP basketball? The players voted him MVP, for goodness' sake! Assuming NBA players know b'ball better than fans, then hating on Harden's game just shows that you don't know basketball. There's nothing else to it. Oh yeah: and Steph Curry looks kinda white and allows non-athletes to fantasize that they could play Steph's puss-o "finesse" game. James Harden is an athletic monster beside Curry. And people who think Harden is "pudgy" don't know jack s*&% about fitness either.
I actually think he somewhat knows his stuff, but he is an extreme know it all type and thinks he is way cooler than he really is. Honestly when I hear him talk about Harden all I hear is a lot of jealousy.
this. so much this. amin taking harden to task for trying to be cool is rich. pot, kettle, black, etc. amin makes the same five jokes ten times a day on twitter. james harden has his own language. gtfoh. oh and andrew sharp has come around on the rockets, really surprising. he used to be a punching bag of mine, but sharp is proof that if you know basketball you know harden's game is unique and ground-breaking. anyone still claiming harden's game is all fouls and travels stopped watching him play in 2013. that's ok we'll take our wins while you keep asking yourself "yes but will the knicks make the playoffs this year?"
