    You left out McGrady.

An MVP and Finals Apperance will put him at 3 for me. With a ring #2 Behind Dream.

No. He's great but when making a franchise player rankings I value longevity. Mind you, some of the most talented guys don't have longevity either (Clyde, Moses). But I'd have James 5-7 ish until he puts in a solid 6 years with the team.

I doubt most of those who voted yes were around to watch Malone & E.

Top two are obviously Hakeem and Moses.

It gets trickier after that, considering Elvin Hayes and Clyde spent most of their careers elsewhere. Calvin Murphy also deserves a mention.

If Harden sustains his current play for a few more years, I think he gets #3. But right now I'll go with:

    1. Hakeem
    2. Moses
    3. Elvin

I think the undisputed top 3 are

    1) Hakeem
    2) Moses
    3) Harden

He's arguably top 3, but not clear cut top 3. Hakeem and Moses are the only ones safe.

James Harden is better then Yao. He led us to the Wcf and lead the league in total points scored.

By the end of his career? I'd bet on it. Right now he's not the undisputed #3.

I might be mistaken but haven't there been threads with polls that had Dwight voted as better and more impactful than Harden?

I mean all those people who voted for Dwight were wrong, but I expected to see some of that in the responses here.

As far as the question goes I think you could argue 3rd right now along with a few others, but give him a few more years and he will be cemented into the top 3.

Shocked when I saw 60% yes.

    Moses and Olajuwon ahead, definitely.

He can pass Sampson/Calvin/Hayes/Bob Sura in my book when/if he makes it to the NBA finals, and cement 3rd (maybe even second) with a championship.

We're starting to forget ourselves by over-hyping the Rockets. What happened to us being OK with flying under the radar?

Yao is better than Harden? I don't think so.

Harden is already ahead of yao. Yao got past the first round once and were part of two epic choke jobs.

    Tier 1: Houston GOAT
    Olajuwon

    Tier 2: Houston Legends
Moses Malone, Rudy T, Calvin Murphy

I think he's in Tier 3, comprised of all-stars and key players, such as Drexler, Thorpe, and Yao. If he takes us to the Finals as the main guy? Could definitely see him ascending to the next tier.

Exactly... I mean they're actually putting HoF players behind Harden... Moses was insane as well as Hayes. It's the same **** I see where people put kobe ahead of Jordan... WTF?!? don't get me wrong Harden is on his way to being something special for the Rockets but he has to do it at a high level for more than one year... If harden thought like some of our fans he could probably retire now and be right next to HoFers on a Rockets pretend Rushmore...

You’ll hear no argument from me on Moses. I think Harden needs to at least get to a finals before that comparison even starts. But I’m pretty meh on Hayes overall for his Rockets (not overall) career. Perhaps it’s partly looking at an older generation from a more analytical view of the game, but to me Hayes wasn’t efficient enough, his teams good enough, for me to view him as a definitive #3.

I voted yes, but that comes with the projection that he’s not having that career-changing injury like a Grant Hill or Penny.
