You know what's weird about that road? The moment you start approaching Memorial/where all the expensive mansions are, the road magically becomes so smooth you'd think you were in Germany. Leave the potholes for the poors a quarter mile south.
I had to fix another leak in my tire yesterday. I have had to purchase 5 tires in the last 18 months. The streets around Montrose are atrocious. It is an embarrassment. I am beginning to think this is all a conspiracy between the rubber and tire companies to sell more rubber/tires. I remember when Texas was known for having good roads. Those days are decades removed, now.
There are plenty of streets with $800k-$1mil+ houses around Montrose that are just horrible to drive on. The rich don't seem to be be having luck getting these god damned roads fixed either. Perhaps a politician or two lives on the street you're talking about.
Surprised Shepherd isn't on there. Then again, I haven't driven those roads in a few years since leaving the area.
