Fienberg resigned or got fired from Hitfix and now he's writing for the Holloywood Reporter. Him and Sepinwall aren't allowed to do podcasts with each other now. The podcast that was put up a week ago was their last. This also means no more Watch the Thrones podcast with both Chris Ryan and Mallory Ruben leaving. I guess they could just do it with Concepcion and Greenwald. They were the best pair after all.
Thanks for the info about Fiengberg. Even though I'm not a fan of greenwald, I enjoyed his discussions with Ryan, because of the friendship and history they share, which really shines in their podcasts. I didnt really care for Concepcion/Greenwald but yeah, they'll probably still have HP and watch the thrones with some added new guests/host. As a book reader who've read each of the books more than once (except book 5, the worst IMO) I don't personally enjoy Concepion or anyone else giving detailed explanations but much prefer listening/reading the impressions of non book readers.
I actually prefaced that entire statement by saying that it wasn't too original of a take from Simmons, chief. Regarding the b****ing and the moaning, yeah it gets tiresome but I'm guessing that will fade away soon. It's only been 4-5 episodes and it's only natural that someone as loud mouthed as Simmons would blab about it. All in all though I love his podcasts and I'm happy to have him back.
