San Antonio is not considered to be a major sports city... not even close.

Nah, it makes them irrelevant to the conversation at hand.

I wouldn't trade being a 3-sport city for a few more championships in only one sport, but you have nobody of your own to root for in the other sports.

And rooting solely for championships is basically equivalent to being the epitome of a bandwagon fan.

That's actually pretty true for 90% of the sports franchises out there; especially if you dismiss the notion of "clutch" wins or losses. The only "curse" is being a top 5 city without the consistent payroll or leadership to be in enough championships for the law of averages to kick in.

I'm counting sports that matter. I'm happy for those who care about those championships, but I've always thought those titles were a slap to the face.

The conversation you responded to is winning.

    5 > 2

Saying a city doesn't win enough is calling a spade a spade. There's nothing bandwagon about that statement.

By not arguing against DAL, you're admitting they whoop our a**.

I didn't get to see this game since I was at work but I was in disbelief when my coworker told me they tied it in the 8th. I just knew Hinch f'd it up again
