    Oh, hell, that's nothing. Stupid, but nothing. Did KC need more motivation?

    I don't see how anyone could see what LMJ did coming off the mound and think it was anything close to a throat slash gesture.

    This is just another case of KC being douchebags, insisting that everyone is out to get them.

    Yea this isn't close to the worst...so many were do or die situations

    My biggest two, personally, were the 86 loss in 16 innings, and the Coogs loss to NC State. Those two ended seasons, and in the case of the Coogs really it ended an era

    In the 86 game, most don't even talk about the fact that we had just lost in 12 innings the night before after a masterpiece by Nolan, then had our closer blow a 3 run lead in the 9th, come back after the Mets take the lead in the 14th on what to that point was probably the biggest HR in team history by Hatcher, then after giving up 3 in the top of the 16th being one hit away from tying the game only to see Bass flail away at a ball he couldn't reach with a boat paddle to end it. THAT, was heartbreak.

    Another thing from that series some might want to consider, Dave Smith didn't just blow that lead in the 9th inning of game 6, he also blew a lead in the bottom of the 9th in game 3...devastating huh?? We turned around the next night and won game 4....these guys have a much shorter memory than we do as fans...the Astros will show up Wednesday in KC and play a hell of a game, hopefully that will be enough...I know this, i'd rather have McHugh than Cueto throwing for me

    I only expect 2 Astros pitchers on Wednesday. Mchugh then Keuchel.

    Keuchel threw a career high number of pitches yesterday. I would be shocked if Luhnow and his agent would allow him to throw tomorrow.

    Every game has pretty much been the same pattern...Astros take the lead and boils down to IF they can close out the game or not. Tweak the bullpen and take the pattern away from the Royals or at least make the attempt to do so with a new wrinkle

    Seems like every time Josh Fields enters a game, he'll give up runs. I guess that's what you get with a guy that throws a fastball that's straight as a line and has no movement.

    Plus all of his pitches tonight were up high. I was screaming at the tv for him to keep it down.

    I think you answered your own question. The Blue Jays had to win or they were going home. Hinch's team was up 2 games to 1 and looking to close out the Royals at home needing only 6 outs with a 4 run cushion. Two completely different scenarios.

    Fiers = Price. Got it.

    If you're not saying that, then your comparison makes no sense and is irrelevant

    The Astros win when their games are at a time that I can watch. They might when even when I can't watch, but so far they always win when the games are at a time that I can actually see them.

    It's not that I'm superstitious or anything.

    Wow, is that real? Not only is he throwing his teammates under the bus, but he's also oblivious to the fact that he also stinks at his job.

    What difference does that make? So you don't go to Fiers in game 2 or 4, to save him for game 5?
