    Aren't they both white, too?

they're both white bball players and the similarities pretty much end there. rookie Parsons was way ahead of Dekker defensively.

just don't see anything in Dekker's game, except the few off. boards in the second game, that reminds of CP.

So many posts fixate on the scoreboard. The Magic played there regular season rotation where we used guys in the second half who won't even be on the roster.

Thornton hit some good looks, McDaniels is impressing...chill the f out

No ****. Very fun 4th quarter. I always thought the Magic were one of the most underrated teams.

bur he'll be one of the best coming off the bench or playing in tandem at times

They were both awful in their first preseason. There is a lot in Dekker's and Parsons' games worthy of comparison. Parsons had slightly more court vision, and Dekker slightly more slashing/scoring ability off the dribble, but they will play the same roles for their teams. They both were good at college threes and horrible at NBA threes starting off. Parsons worked hard at it; we'll see if Dekker does the same.

Dekker will not step on NBA court this season if he plays like in preseason. He'd hardly get minutes on 76ers, let alone on the main title contender.

WTF at so many of you already writing Dekker's NBA obituary.

We've had plenty of players who didn't look like LeBron coming out of the gate. They'll probably just throw Dekker to the Vipers for awhile anyway.

mchale is just playign with lineups, maybe giving bev some freedom to see how it goes, he's falling on his face pretty hard though, and i expect him to not really be "point guard" in the regular season

There was a lot of good and a lot of bad in this one:
    - Is anybody more ready for this season than our SFs in Brew & Ariza? Brewer looked very sharp on his threes and very focused. Did you see that dive on the floor in the 3rd quarter, that was fun!
    - Thorton is really starting to grow on me, very poised, has a knack for offensive rebounds, most of the time under control and can shoot. If he keeps playing like this, he will get some minutes
    - KJ is an athletic freak and he's fun to watch with dunks and blocks, but he's still very raw. I'll take Thorton over him right now.
    - I'm starting to really like Josh Smith. I'm never big on fat guys, but man, he sure can throw that weight around, is a good rebounder, can set good screens, seems to be very smart, makes the correct passes and has some post moves.
    - Livingston and Cummings provided some nice spark, but we need big men.
    - Dekker will get a lot of burn in the D-League
    - Is TJ still hurt? Damn he looks bad. It's almost as if he doesn't want to start. That pass to Beverley in the 2nd quarter near half-court that got stolen because he was so slow was just horrendous
    - I love Ty next to Harden so both can create for each other. With Harden out in the 3rd quarter, not so much...Ty seems to want to play within the team too much, but he needs to look for own shot more and make quicker decisions. Just shoot that midrange shot!
    - Beverley with some silly fouls, but shot the 3 well and had a nice block / steal. Still horrendous at running an offense, but that seemed to be the case with Ty as well so not sure who's fault that is. Coach telling them to do whatever I guess?
    - Montrez is full of energy, all over the place, had one decent shot, 2 tremendous hustle rebounds and some fouls. You take the good with the bad, but he's far from a certified starter or even a back up. Still if TJ keeps this up and D-Mo is not back, I like him next to Capela when Dwight is out over TJ. TJ shines next to Dwight it seems.
    - Harden was balling
    - Our defense was very poor at times, hope that's just pre-season.

Any highlights of lawson. Man I like he's playing already. He has great awareness, moves the ball around and jist has that playmaking superstar swagger about him.

    Corrected

That is not our second unit only Beverley and maybe Thornton where responsible of the blowing the lead.

After Harden bump knees Mchale was just playing not to get his A player hurt.

In preseason the half time score is whats matter, firs t half is when usually most of both teams play their best player after that is just a scrubs vs scrubs playing for a roster spot or at least a contract.

Other then the practice bodies we got. We really don't have scrubs. I like all of our 15 man roster. I mean they all have the ability to play out there. Obviously harrell struggled

Beverley is becoming expendable in my eyes, especially if Llull commits to coming over in a yr or two.

I'm surprised People are so down on Dekker; this game was his 2nd NBA game ever. He looked pretty good to me.

Jones almost seems like he just jogs around. Isn't really putting in much effort.

I've noticed that with him in preseason both this year and last year.

It's almost like he thinks starters don't try hard in preseason, so he's not going to try hard either because he's established now.

Because I remember the same gripe about him last year during preseason, but when the season started he looked really good out of the gate those first 4 games before he got injured.
