It's always possible that this could be a breakout year; Lin's going to have the ball and the style of play that suits him best. On the other hand, using MJ as a judge of player potential is questionable given his drafting history, and the quote came out of a trip to China. What's he going to say? If Lin continues playing at this level as the year goes on it will be a good to great year for him, but it would be nice to wait until he has done it in at least a few regular season games first.
Jeremy Lin 2015 Preseason.... Jeremy Lin 2014 preseason (last 4 games).... Only to follow it up with this on the opening night against the Rockets.... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AvWwjAyIuKQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Let's just say that had he continued his much-celebrated 2014 preseason performance for the Lakers into the regular season, he would not have to settle for peanuts on the Hornets because the Lakers and others would have made offers for him.
Scott had a point guard when he was with the Nets. He didn't have a point guard last year with the Lakers.
I'm kinda of feeling bad for the Lin fans, they are not welcomed at their last few stops. I found a place that would love Lin fans
That's because it didn't matter what Yao did in the preaseason since after 4 years, he established himself as one of the elite players in the league while Lin is trying to prove he's still a rotational player.
Woohooo ALL SHOULD FEAR THE LINSANITY 3-0 in preaseason and Jordan just said he is their best pick up *clap clap*. Sttutter step in preaseason only to turn the ball over in regular season. I remember Lin fans (delusional idiots) rejoicing when Kupchak said that he had been targeting Lin for 3 years and that Lin was finally free of the evil Morey only to turn around after a few games and start insulting Kupchak. LOL you lot are off the deep end. It's rinse and repeat everywhere.
Stop, everyone in NY/NJ knows Jason Kidd was the real coach of that team. THen CP3 was the guy running the show in New ORleans. When he was to Cleveland to coach a rag tag bunch he failed miserably, don't know why LA thought it'd be different there.
Byron Scott was clearly a visionary. He could recognize that if he did what Magic told him then someday people would think he knew something about basketball. Then he proved how brilliant he was by letting Kidd run his team. There can be no doubt that when Byron shuts up, his teams can go far.
Rockets fans witnessed last year how point guards are suppose to play in the post season. Jason terry and pablo prigioni, both old as hell showed how play with poise and know basic things like the clock
And screw the knicks fans, i hope you have that dream of maxwell hitting that 3 to ice the finals and pushing starks out of his way so he can celebrate with mario and Horry
tinman Y u gotta be like that? trollin' Say what? You actually give Credit to Byron Scott (over Jason Kidd) on those Nets teams? LOLLLLL :grin:
Byron Scott didn't get a fair shake at coaching cause lin was so bad. Like mchale, you remove lin, then the rockets make the conference finals, the first time since the rockets had Barkley ! Lin's bone head plays against portland will not be forgotten. His crap play makes rafer Alston look like Isiah Thomas For the lin fans, when they insult clutchfans, they made enemies til the end of days
