And F the lead commentator. My word I wish we had a camera on him when we struck out, he's got to be pumping his fist with the way he screams.
He was running hard early, then slowed down at the bag like he was going to hold at 1st, then inexplicably decided to keep going. Once he slowed up, he's gotta stop there.
Castro, Valbuena, Carter, and Gattis. It's a wonder the Astros are still playing with these guys getting major playing time.
We have to somehow manage to get one first. Poor Dallas has got to be feeling like he's pitching with the bases loaded all game long with the way our offense is going.
this i agree with. For a slow man, you can't hesitate and slow momentum and expect to still make it on a close play. I still thought it was worth the risk given what it required from Gordon, but Carter can't afford any hesitations
A lot of it is the the audio from MLB Network. The fans were going crazy the first couple of innings, and you could barely hear a cheer. It's awful.
Valbuena and Carter had pretty great Septembers. It's like we all keep forgetting what this team is--a bunch of streaky guys, and we hope to hit on a couple of them at the same time. Rasmus was hitting like garbage for a while this year too. (Remove Castro from this discussion--I wish Conger could throw 20% of runners out so we could play him..)
