If you don't think Lin looks good in the preseason so far then you are just a hater. It takes some point guards years in the NBA to "get it". See Dragic and Lowry as examples.
He probably uses the hair as a sweat sponge. Although leaving it spiked up looks a million times better than the split crop. One thing about that 'split crop' is it does bring the comforting essence of 90s. I loved that decade.
Jeremy Lin is playing 100% in the preseason while vets out there are relaxing not giving full effort. The things he is doing now will get shut down once the season begins.
Lin plays good in preseason: lol tryhard in an insignificant game Lin plays good in regular season: lol stat padding scrub in an insignificant team
He had that one good game, but that is cancelled out by him giving away two games and playing mediocre in the other 4 or so.
I love to hate on Lin, but he really does look like his game improved. I think he's turned a corner. Even his hair has improved. He was Moe, now he's Mr. T.
Nah mate it's only to get at the LOFs! Nekminit 2 years on Hahaha, like at least get some variety in the trolling like go boxing or nfl etc Like Rockets have Lawson now yet this thread has 100 pages somehow, people just love to post about the guy
Lol at preseason. It's funny to watch the excitement though. He sucks. He will suck during the regular season like he always has and then we will hear a myriad of excuses. Kemba Walker will be his years target
Fellas- I'ma go off-thread for a sec... but can we universally proclaim that Yao is the best of the super-bigs the League has ever seen? Super-big would be the category of anyone over 7'2" in the NBA... The class would include (in chronological order): Tom Burleson Chuck Nevitt Ralph Sampson Mark Eaton Rik Smits Arvydas Sabonis (not necessarily counting his Commie-Euro-FIBA career) Manute Bol Shawn Bradley Gheorge Muresan copy?
This is very true. It took 3 or 4 years in the league for these point guards to actually "emerge". Lowry and Dragic, like Lin, were both solid backup PGs in their early years. Then Lowry learned how to shoot the three and Dragic was allowed the opportunity to step out of Nash's shadow. Now they're both all star level point guards. If Lin can develop confidence, and consistency, then I think that he also has the potential to be a very good player in this league. The things he's doing with Charlotte right now are things that I haven't seen him do since Linsanity. He's got the stutter-step, and the hesitation move. I saw him use those moves maybe only once or twice the whole time he was in Houston. Also he's bigger, stronger and more explosive this year. Also he's developing some EXCELLENT chemistry with Cody Zeller and Spencer Hawes. Charlotte is 3-0. Jordan just said that he is their best pickup (better than Batum even).
I don't remember people caring about what Yao did in the preseason. especially after 4 years in the NBA.
