This is a quote from Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood.

 

Really, that's not a quote from Margaret Sanger, it's a copy paste from pro-life screed, divorced from any context. Curiously , it conflates her speaking engagement (in an era where it was perfectly fine to be in the KKK, for whatever that's worth) with a separate unrelated letter, and makes it seem like it's a quote from a speech.

There are plenty of medical procedures that are unpleasant to look at. But we don't post images of them and then tell anyone who objects to face reality as if they weren't already.

Those of us against war, don't show unspoilered images of gruesome battle scenes to show people who supported a war they need to face reality.

There's a place for debate, but what you are doing isn't a part of the debate. If you want to show it, then put a spoiler tag and dare the people arguing with you to look at it. But don't make every person who comes to this page have to see that crap over and over again. It's a d8ck move.

If people want to debate with your video, then let them debate, but forcing people to see something isn't helpful for any argument you are presenting.

 

Watched your video, it's a picture slideshow overlayed with guitar music.

If you want to face reality, it's strictly an appeal to emotion with no context, source citation or intellectual argument.

If I put together a slideshow of open heart transplants paired with Kenny G music, it would be just as gruesome and just as ineffective.

Like I've never seen a photo of someone carrying a child who is collateral damage in a war action... who does that?

Abortion is a more akin to a slaughter than a vacuuming process. People need to know that. Part of people's decision-making needs to include the very dark ugliness of this war action.

Most medical procedures are life-saving. This one is not. In fact, it is just the opposite. I've seen plenty of pictures of dead or injured children used to promote an anti-war message and so have you.

 

What is wrong with emotion? A high degree of empathy can go a long way in life. These images have all the context they need; they are samples of aborted babies burned, beheaded or dismembered. Gruesome? Yes. Ineffective? No.

Look at the smiling mother daughter photo on the PP site. Are they thinking about outcomes like this? No. Are they thinking of the great scientific advances their daughter/granddaughter will be making possible? Probably not. Are they thinking "almost rid of my problem." Yes, most likely.

 

The right to lie caucus that giddy belongs too can rest easy.

I like to think in the days of a smaller forum, there were better attempts of respect and understanding but it's more likely there were less anti-social and unlistened weirdos polluting threads with their simpleminded thoughts.

The good/bad ratio is off and anyone can reply to anything.

 

The excessively bloody ones are usually spoilered. If you want to play it classless, then you go right ahead and do that. It proves no point, it doesn't help you make any point, and there's no reason to not have it with spoiler tags.

If anything you being classless, hurts your cause.

 

For the child, who is guilty of nothing and gets no say, it's only either Life or Death to be decided by someone else. Pro-Lifers are not the ones making it an issue.

I'm quite confident that the ugly reality is effective in undermining people's confidence in abortion as a humane option.

I understand you want to hide away the ugliness and talk about vacuuming instead of burning and beheading, but let's at least be honest about what is involved.

 

The logic here is, if society and the law considered abortion 'killing babies'
it would be outlawed. Since they don't, it must be something else from the way it is in your mind.

But I am all for state provided care for all pregnant mothers, state run healthcare for all children, state provided meals and education for all children, free college, and lower incarceration rates and rehabilitation for non-violent criminals.

See, I'm pro-life.

 

Easy question: were any of the pictures in the video third trimester (or "post-viability") abortions? Because all you did here was post a slideshow of the results of a procedure that's already illegal. Gruesome and ineffective.
