Y'all act like the Astros haven't been aggressive all season, and taking chances. Runners with big leads, using shifts, swinging for homers, That is who they are. It won't just change now because it is the playoffs. When teams do change just because it is the playoffs, that is when they tend to get swept.
Pressure is squarely back on the Astros for Game 3. With Dallas pitching, I feel we absolutely have to take that game.
We're heading to Houston with the series tied 1-1 which I doubt many predicted could happen. Where we swept the Royals 3-0. Keep your heads up Astros fans. We'll get 'em in Houston! We have the potential Cy Young winner going, and a nasty rookie going after him. We got this. Astros in 4!
Why Tucker did not start the inning? Lets see, he gets the walk, you have Marisnick bunting Gomez to second, and then you have Altuve and Springer up there trying to tied the game. Why use Lowrie????? He is one of our worse hitters in the last 30 games of the season. especially hitting left handed. Today Hinch made all the WRONG MOVES, this game is on the manager. Well, 1 run games are usually decided by the manager.
Hopefully today's game gave some experience to fields...we will need him. Have faith...going back home. Go Astros
At home, split series. That's just how baseball works, I'm pretty sure MMP will be ready and waiting for them on Sunday. I love playoff baseball.
A playoff team has to win a home game with their Cy Young worthy pitcher on the mound who is 15-0 at home where that team is also nearly a .667 team? Wow. What brilliant observation.
oh yea 1 run games...had to creep up somewhere...might as well be game 2 garbage game at the least...all the trash/mistakes got thrown into this extra gravy game and they only won by 1 run...I'm taking the 1-1 split with K on the mound sunday tho
But that one time he was planning on starting the next day, pitching was a total surprise Today, he knew he was available
Hinch showed why is not a great manager. Made every wrong move you could think of today. Worst bullpen manager. Then he hits with Lowrie? Wtf!
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And it's why they got a big rally instead of an inning ending double play. Make all the excuses you want, the result backs up what I'm saying.
