For us to be good in the post season we are going to need Neshek to be good vs righties.

Yeah, I'd pinch hit Tucker for Castro and Gomez for Marisnick.

If you go ahead, roll with Conger for half an inning.

The Astros are routinely known to use more shifts than anyone in baseball and it has saved more runs than any other team. There have been numerous stat-geek articles on this over the last few years.

Probably because it would be stupid to eliminate half the plate as a potential place to pitch. Shift or not, you're probably not going to pitch well if the batter knows to only look at one part of the plate.

Pitchers warm up all the time in games they don't get put into. I'm not sure why this is a sign of anything. In your mind, is he just smart enough to consider using him, but too stupid to actually use him?

I agree it is frustrating. It isn't however when we got use to seeing people continue to ground out up the middle to Correa when shifting.

I'm in no way saying Hinch managed a perfect game, but what some people are saying on here is just laughable.

Meh. Should have used Tucker over Lowrie. Gomez must not be able to swing.
