Holding weekly auditions to be the starting QB is something laughing stocks like the Jags, Browns, Redskins, and Raiders do. God help us.
Another indication that BOB needs to be gone. Do any of us really trust him to bring along a rookie QB?
So I guess Bill is not proud of these QBs? Or he's proud of both of them and that's why he's rotating them, equal love. They're professionals, grown men, in the NFL, they're lucky to even be starting, they'll be fine. blahblahblah I'm sure Brian & Ryan appreciate being yanked at any possible, as Donny put it last night, being yanked at any possible fart in the wind.
It doesn't matter who starts next week. Season is road kill. Some of us are already secretly hoping the Texans go 1-15, so they get another number one overall pick..........to screw up.
It's been 13 years since the Texans have blown a first overall pick on a bust QB, so I'm hoping we go in that direction.
Yeah, never saw that coming..... He was actually looking really good to - which is a game longer of that behavior than I ever expected to see after the last injury.
Even with the less than adequate QB situation, this team has way too much defensive talent to be bullied around like this... The powers that be will not pull the plug on B'ob just yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a mid year coaching change on the defensive and/or special teams side just so they can say they are making changes - actually justified in this case. RAC is done.
Just now watching a lot of the game and I cannot believe what a b**** Mallett was acting like on the sidelines after being pulled. Get that guy out of here now.
Actually... they don't (barring injury). I mean, there was a time the Browns and Washington had revolving doors at QB, sure - but they're set right now with McCown and Cousins for the foreseeable future (even though neither is likely a long-term solution). I remain absolutely flabbergasted that an NFL head coach benched his hand-picked starter after 3Qs in the season's first game. If BOB's tenure doesn't improve (and it looks pretty dicey right now), I think that'll be his Charles Hill moment.
Only a Texans fan would cite teams like the Jaguars, Browns, Raiders and Redskins as "jokes" for us to laugh at. The rest of the league sees us that way.
