Would have been out... throw was on-line and Rasmus hadn't reached 3B yet.

Its Alex Gordon.... possibly the best LF in baseball.

Pettis man. Sends guys all season and then stops Rasmus in the ALDS.

Probably only needs to score like 30% of the time for it to be a profitable send there by Pettis. I hate when this team stops being aggressive

3pm start time is pretty ideal too IMO. Plenty of time for people to get downtown and pre-game

I would've sent him home, It's the playoffs. Valbuena wasn't going to do anything this early in the game.

Easy to second guess not sending him, but Gordon has a gun, and it was right in front of him.

I think the odds of Rasmus scoring there were about equal to the odds of Valbuena getting a hit.

Rasmus was toast if he went, he was at 3rd when the LF got to the ball, LF made a perfect relay...woulda been out by 10 feet.

Rasmus is on one of those tears that most athletes only dream about. Love it.

Colby was even with the third basemen as he was receiving the ball in the outfield, would have been dead to rights at home IMO.

If we would have sent him and he were to be thrown out, people on here would be screaming Clark all over again. In my opinion it was a good hold, tough out from Val.

Come on Kaz! We need you today bud.

Lol, no freaking way Rasmus makes it home on that play…he would have had to run 30 yards faster than it would take for the ball to travel 50 yards.
