They let Toronto close the roof yesterday so I feel pretty confident that it will be closed Sunday.

 

Astros playoff games at MMP had closed roof all the time....it wasn't until the World Series that Bud told us to open it so they could get good blimp shots from above for TV.

 

Random thought. But why not give Tucker a shot at DH. Gattis has been pretty quiet these last two games.

 

I gotta call Comcast and complain about not having MLB Network and upgrade then right after the game I'll downgrade. Especially if the sweep is possible Sunday.

Thought we were fantastic again last night in game 1! Amazing how we've responded since that Rangers series, the whole team is playing with a real purpose, freedom, togetherness and confidence at just the right time.


Nervous about Kazmir pitching tonight, we need him at his very best. Imagine if we win game 2.........

I think July kazmir down s going to show up in October. If he comes back strong, than rotation of keuchel, kazmir, mchugh, McCullers is going to be amazing.

Going to be stuck at work. But yesterday I was able to stream FS1 through my XFINITY account online. Picture came in pretty clear so I'd try that if you have an XFINITY account or U-verse account works too I believe.

 

Makes me wonder if the plan all along was to let the Rangers take the division and the Astros take their chances at the wildcard against the Yankees to avoid facing Toronto in the ALDS.

I think Kazmir will be fine. It's a lefty heavy lineup and apparently he's sucked last 2 Septembers, but it's not September anymore!

 

anybody else worried that our players might get drilled with some pitches in game 2, the royals are a dirty team, especially when they are losing. These are the same guys are threw at Springer and put him out for weeks which caused our late season slide

As far as the roof for Sunday's game. Near record temps in the 90's are forecasted so that roof will definitely be closed.

 

Not worried at all. They're not going to put guys on base in a game they really need to win.
