He's failing at things that were supposed to be his strengths. Discipline? Uh, no. Not this year. Good OC? Well, he pawned that responsibility off on his buddy Godsey. QB Guru? Well, he hasn't had somebody worthwhile to really work with. Fitz did better than expected but this year's been bad. Game plan offense? Not seeing it. Holding people accountable? Eh, sometimes. Randy lost his job. But how much are these players really going to be held accountable for their boneheaded penalties? RAC was supposed to have a game plan defense but I'm not seeing that either. After the Kubiak/Wade era where they did their thing and never adjusted, we all welcomed this game plan approach. Our game plan would vary based on the opponent. We'd take advantage of our strengths and their weaknesses and adjust our game plan accordingly. If something wasn't working, we'd change it. I'm not seeing it.
RAC might be too old to really put in the late nights to study and scheme opponents. Maybe we should have left him in retirement, because it looks like he still might be.
Considering that win came against a horrible Tampa Bay squad with a rookie quarterback, that we were losing at home at half and it seemed like none of the teams wanted to win with all the blown FGs and dumb penalties to give offense more chances, that win really doesn't seem like a win to be honest. And honestly, at this point, I would rather be 0-5 and be that much closer to be getting the number 1 pick.

I really don't want to see any quote from anyone associated with the Texans that doesn't basically say "we suck and we're not good at football and that was absolutely, inexcusably embarrassing"

BOB giving BS excuses for benching Mallet. How about "HOYER WAS DOING OK SO I LEFT HIM IN BECAUSE THIS QB COMPETITION IS BASICALLY A GODD*MNED GUESSING GAME".

If you could somehow beat ****ing 40 year old Hasselbeck .... You get Jags and Dolphins next. A possible 3 game swing. Now we are ****ed
Ryan Mallett also thought he set his alarm. Or had enough battery in his phone. Or something. Man this guy has bad luck with clocks.
