    He is what he is, and he's what the Stros are rolling with this postseason. Nobody is being totally unreasonable, or any more unreasonable than they are about sports in general.

    Love it. Start guy that throws 99, bring in guy that throws 89, bring in guy that throws 99 again and first batter is late on a fastball and nails it the other way.

    Lol, Pierzynski talking about the preponderance of hard throwers in modern bullpens, says you just don't see guys that throw in the 80's with sinker/sliders anymore. He's about to get introduced to Luke Gregerson.

    I was thinking the same.

    If I recall, Preston Tucker hit a home run off a 100 MPH fastball, and it was the fastest pitch hit for a home run at that point in the season. If they keep Herrera in, I'd be tempted to put him in as a PH for Gattis.
