I'm honestly glad AJ let him face Kendrys. Hindsight 20/20 but it does a lot for his confidence.

The play by play is so depressing the last half inning, lol.

    Ata freaking boy Collin!

This is one heck of a gutsy pitching performance.

    I love you Colin!

That pitching performance is one of the gutsiest I have seen by an Astro in the postseason ever!

Got ahead 0-2, and got out of the inning.

Heck of an effort by McHugh. Morales got him, but I'll take 6 innings of 2 run ball with a rain delay in between.

Totally agree. If a guy's going to hit 3 home runs on you, but it's the same guy, it can't destroy your confidence- you just tip your tip to him and move on.

Those first 2 strikes were nasty, great work McHugh. I imagine Strom told him "this is your last batter, let it loose".

I'm sick of this board ripping Castro. He's a great defensive catcher and has the invaluable trust of the pitching staff. He's no Mike Piazza at the plate, but he's not the horrid hitter everyone make him out to be.

Let's be real, he's been atrocious the last month at the plate. He'll come out of it. You are right tho about his defense. That's why you can't bench him.

Agree on everything else... but since he's come off the DL, he's been absolutely horrid.

I'm with you. It isn't like he quits on the team. Players go through hot and cold streaks. He isn't the only Astro to strike out this season.

I like him. He shows up, and tries to do what he's called on to do.

That doesn't mean I'm always happy with his at bats, but I won't hate on the guy. He could turn it around at any time.

Well, it's one thing to live the team, but just blindly to glorify a bad hitter is silly.

The catcher position is definitely the Astros need to upgrade in the offseason.
