    There's that compassionate conservatism!

You're either a troll or a joke. Take your pick.

Is the point of this picture "gun laws don't work?"

Are people really still operating under the delusion that a bunch of civilians with their handguns, shotguns & semi-automatic rifles is capable of putting up any sort of meaningful resistance against a US military that turned oppressive or a foreign invading military that just managed to defeat the US military?

If you really want an armed civilian population that's capable of putting up some sort of meaningful resistance against a modern army,,, better start allowing civilians to own high explosives, RPGs, anti-tank missiles, MANPADs, heavy machine guns, mortars & rockets, and various large caliber vehicle mounted weapons.

What the picture imply isn't historically correct, but that won't matter.

Those interested can read it here - http://ir.lawnet.fordham.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=4029&context=flr

One thing people might not know is BOTH Germany and Japan surrender involve them HAVING to outlaw weapons (even sword in case of Japan lol). Ever since, Japan has become the safest nation in the world while Germany isn't doing so bad.

But yes, the idea that civilians can stop the US military is nut.

Now, well organized militias (National Guard and Naval Militia) stand a real chance.

Absolutely. If you feel that someone who steals from someone else deserves to die, then you are a sick ****ing individual. Do you need me to give you a dictionary definition of each one of those words so that you understand my point?

In that example you presented, you honestly think it's OK to stab a guy to death b/c he steals your radio? Again, what kind of sick ****ing individual are you? What about someone who embezzles money? Should I go shoot him in the head? What if someone steals the parking space I was about to enter into? Should I slit their throat? There's a candy bar in my front seat- and a kid reaches in my open window and grabs it- BAM! SHOT THAT ****ER RIGHT IN THE ****ING HEAD! YEAH!!!! YOU STEAL, YOU DIE, MOTHER****ER!

Again, you. have. a. sickness. and. you. should. seek. professional. help.

I appreciate your naive compassion even though I don't share it. Anyway, in the real world, if you break into someone's house to rob them, then yes you deserve to die if the owner wishes to kill you for it. If they don't want you dead, then fine. When you break into someone's house you put yourself at their mercy, if they kill you, fine, if they call the cops and you end up in jail, fine, if they let you go, fine.

I guess to Bobby the constitution is sacred, except for the 5th amendment.

You fail to understand what I'm saying, I'm not suggesting that the government deprive anyone of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law. If you decide to let the thief live out of the kindness of your heart, then they should absolutely get due process.

When it's self defense, you absolutely have the right to kill, even if you're a cop. Why do I have to even say these incredibly obvious things?

That lady should be charged. It was a reckless shooting. As far as I understand, it was simple shoplifting. If it were armed robbery, I'd be okay with her shooting at armed robbers.

Never argue with a sociopath like Bobby. You could probably write a book on the number of sickening, macho bull**** things he espouses on a regular basis. His mind just operates in its own sick, sad little world.

That's not what you limited yourself to, and you know it. The prior poster gave several examples, including those in which individuals were shooting or attacking people that (a) broke into someone else's house, and (b) broke into someone's car.

And you did NOT say "someone who breaks into someone's house with a gun to rob them should be killed," you said THIEVES SHOULD DIE. That's EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID. So, are you going to admit what you said was wrong? Or do you still believe that, if someone breaks into your car and steals your radio, you have the right to follow that person and shoot them dead?

That HD parking lot was full of cars. People were also seen walking around when the thief were running to his car. She endanger other lives with her reckless action.

If there were such a thing as gun license, her should be suspended. Maybe revoke her conceal license for some time.
