If he shoots 40% from 3 to go along with his already elite post game, we better be prepared to make a max offer (which I would completely support, BTW).

Is anybody else just absolutely amped up for this season? I mean,

-Harden saying he's working on conditioning and motivated by not winning MVP
-How KJ McDaniels has looked in the preseason
-How CLINT CAPELA has looked in the preseason
-DMo putting in work to come back healthy and better than ever (750 threes made in 2 hours!!!!!)
-Lawson with a chip on his shoulder effectively in a contract year
-Dwight being as close to healthy as he's gonna get
-TJones with a MAJOR chip on his shoulder/Having the option to trade him
-Beverley ready to get back to being a defensive force
-I haven't even talked about Brewer, Thornton, Terry, Harrell, and Dekker

    I'm Excited

How are videos of Terrence Jones putting in work proof that Terrence Jones doesn't put in work?

TJ looks pretty good if videos are apparently an indication of "putting in work"

Too bad he never shoots it like that when it counts, instead he does that hideous pump fake.

Horrible form. Horrible mechanics. And a step back move than won't fool anybody because they'll give him that 18 footer that he doesn't want to take and that the Rockets don't want him to take.

Hate to break it to you, but Terrence is never going to be a plus shooter until he breaks down his mechanics and basically starts over from the feet up. And that process will take several years at this point. He's got to shoot the 3 ball efficiently in volume for us to consider giving him a contract offer. That won't happen.

Not only does he thinks he works for the rockets, he is also delusional that he thinks he is part of the decision making.

You don't have work for the front office to know that. And if you don't know that you might not be a Rockets fan.

TJones's stroke is just awful. I don't know how you can be in the league 3 years and still not fix the release.

Are these the "immediate value trade targets" y'all have been discussing in the front office?

Guy who hates and campaigns against current Rockets players calls out virtually every fan on here for not being a Rockets fan?

How is this idiot not banned yet? Because he memorized Larry Coon's CBAFAQ or because he averages 50 posts a day?

LMFBO. The guy is a piece of work. Total Terrence basher and supposed insider. Even if Jones averaged 25pts and 15 boards he's still say he's garbage and needs to be traded ect. The Rockets need to remove Morey as GM and replace him with _asketballhollic for christ sakes LOL:grin:

You might not be a basketball fan. Anyone who puts Rubio in the same sentence as MAGIC Johnson needs a check up. LOL

LOL at the videos. Proof that he's not working... by showing videos that he is working on his shot? NICE. Haha spit my drink out there.

The first issue is that little clips do nothing to illustrate the lack of work ethic.

    Stop being ridiculous.

This is a typical "Around the world" shooting. Partner shooting. 2 man shooting. Whatever you want to call it. Except his partner is a rebounder in the training staff, for sure. Dude, this guy is a professional athlete for a living: I really hope he could shoot for 2 hours. He's not running to different spots: you take "x" amount at a spot, and move on.

Many coaches will not allow you to shoot 3's if you don't break the 60% or 70% mark from 3. Fact. Source? High school, college, other friends of mine in college... Shooting this percentage is not an automatic guarantee for a 40% 3 pt shooter.

It's nice that he is hitting a percentage above the mark, but it's not like he was shooting in the 20% from 3 last year anyways. This isn't some world-beating drill only done by Dmo: people do this stuff, with similar number of attempts, at all levels.

Yeah, but ... his form looks good ... maybe not enough muscle memory which begs the question how much does he shoot daily
