We don't know what happened before the video started. If I had to guess, he came in drunk AF and the manager didn't want to serve him food because of it. If this is the case, the whole situation could have been completely avoided. Get off of your high horse is my take if that's how it went down. This doesn't make the douche's reaction correct. He was obnoxious, made a fool of himself and his life is probably ruined now.
Yeah! Obviously we should appease every ******* who wants to make a scene. Give them preferential treatment even. That'll sure teach them to behave like normal human beings in the future. Just reward dick blisters like this kid by giving them what they want, even when they're drunk and obnoxious and not following the rules. #'Merca!
In the video the manager said the guy came in with a bottle of booze and was drinking it in front of everyone. I'm not sure if there was something else that triggered the manager
Underaged with an open container of alcohol, heck maybe even an open container of any outside drink, is probably pretty straightforward campus and dining hall policy. If this was on some larger or more urban state campus they'd have an on site Police Department and this kid would removed and booked a lot more quickly. As it is, those staffers might still be fired for the assault.
He wasn't making a scene until they refused to give him the food. They could have called campus security, while they got him the food. He doesn't cause a scene and is warmly greeted by an officer on the way out. Instead they put a lot of people at risk, physically. Do you think they all would have stepped up to him if he had been a 6'5 football player? No, they stepped up to him because they thought they could deal with him physically, if it came to that. In a way, they probably wanted him to react, so they could put him in his place.
Yes, the drunken entitled brat should be rewarded. Teach him that acting like a spoiled ****head gets you what you want. Kudos to the manager for not teaching him the most important lesson in that situation....that little p*ssies who talk crap to people when drunk get their a$$es beaten.
How do you know he's not just drunk and not entitled, spoiled, or a brat? If he was perfectly sober and just wanted special treatment, I'd agree, but he was clearly drunk. What drunk doesn't think he's entitled? You can't teach a drunk person a lesson. They're drunk! Manage the current situation. The lesson comes after, when he has sobered up in jail and /or expelled.
Because he picked a fight and kept asking for something after being told he couldn't have it. Lots of inebriated people get through their evening without any trouble, they're self aware enough to focus just on finding their designated driver or just going straight home.
I think you missed the news that he had been arrested twice already before, so he hasn't really learned a lesson. This kid has a problem. I'm glad the video went down the way it did. He needs to suffer severe consequences before he does much worse later on.
I don't know you so I don't mean no disrespect when I say this, but, you either don't have kids or aren't ready to have kids. As an authority figure you have to be the authority, and that means having to be tough with someone like this. You can't let someone push you around like that. Because if you do everyone else is going to lose respect for you Can't have that.
