Thank you for representin- kick their ****ing ass, you mother****ers!! (sorry, just Hinched it there for a minute).
Not the most graceful close to a season, but we're still in it. Given how young this squad is and where we started from, this is an accomplishment. This team got knocked down hard in September, but they got back up and finished strong. Been fun to watch all this coming together, as hard as it has been in recent years.
Wow. Yankees have 6 left handed bats in their lineup plus Beltran & Headley who will probably switch sides. Keuchel is the perfect choice. My 25.. C Castro/Conger IF Carter/Altuve/Lowrie/Correa/Valbuena OF Springer/Rasmus/Gonzalez/Gomez/Tucker/Marisnick DH Gattis SP Keuchel/McHugh/Kazmir/McCullers Pen Gregerson/Neshek/Harris/Sipp/Perez/Fields/Fiers
No way I put Kazmir on the playoff roster...he's the 5th starter and should not be seeing any game action ahead of K, McHugh, Lance, and Fiers. He's been terrible.
You can change the playoff roster before each round. Unless they have changed the rules, tomorrow's game is round 1. That being the case, no need to have McHugh and McCullers on the roster.
Yes, the Wild Card game is considered a round of the playoffs and the winner can reset their roster prior to the Division Series.
My 25 man for the WC. Altuve Springer Correa Rasmus Gattis Carter Valbuena Gomez Castro Gonzalez Tucker Marisnick Lowrie Conger Villar Keuchel Fiers Velasquez Sipp Perez Qualls Neshek Fields Harris Gregerson
I like the 25, but i think Kazmir goes over VV, at least we have another lefty for matchups there. I hope Gomez is able, he could make the difference
Interesting. Could be a "die a hero" game for Gomez. May as well take his last cuts of the season in the 1-gamer.

We are 3 and 1 in October, and we are playing great on the road with the orange jersey. Tonight's game was awesome, Hinch made all the correct moves. He took K at the exact moment, some thought K should had pitch one more inning, i have to disagree with them, K was struggling with command in the 6th and ARod could not hit a fat pitch for the third out. Using Sipp in the 7th was great, as i said before, i believe Sipp is a MUST for us next year. The 8th we have Harris, another good move by Hinch. A long time ago i mentioned i prefer Harris in the 8th because Neshek struggles more with lefties and i prefer him as a situational pitcher in the 6th or 7th. Gregerson was magnificent in the 9th. Now, the lineup, having Carter hit 8th was smart as we split the left handed bats. RAsmus, as i've said before has hit a lot of BIG hits for us, i think he should be back next year. Altuve, again delivered with RISP. Springer, right now is our best hitter. Gomez, is a pity if he can't play next series, he could dominate a game with the bat, glove and legs. Villar SHOULD continue to be in the 25 men roster, his legs helped the team score the third run. I believe Hinch made all the right moves, especially with the bullpen and running game. This team is playing great baseball at the moment, and anything can happen from now on. Great game
