I don't think the Clippers bench will be as bad as you guys are predicting. They obviously need to time to learn how to play with each other. Once they get their chemistry down, I'm fairly certain that they will be an above average to good bench squad.
The problem is it didn't seem like they had any direction when they signed the players. In fact, speaking from a completely objective point of view, it seemed like Doc Rivers was just signing players the Rockets wanted. Lance Stephenson and Jamal Crawford do not match at all, both very ball dominant player. Then you have Josh Smith to add to the equation as well who also needs to be a playmaker to be at his best. Last but not least, Austin Rivers is their PG coming off the bench, and he is not a PG. There is no semblance of synergy in the lineup, it's completely random. They took in two players who had laughably bad seasons last season (Josh Smith redeemed himself after getting waived) and decided to put them on the same lineup.

It can end up with Williams moving to the SF in addition to Daniels seeing significant PT at SG. It might assure that A Harrison sticks as a PG/SG option with Lin seeing more SG time. Hairston (as well as Batum and Williams) can play SF.

Horrible. It is so unlucky and it can now cost many people their jobs. Charlotte sold off too many things to make the playoffs this year, and both the coach and the gm will be out of the door if they fail. But I think Batum may be on the trading block by February. Also there are some weird hornets fans. Lamb only fans. 0_O
