Texans offense is just pathetic, from the play calling, to the QB play, to dropped balls, down to the O-Line. Everything is just pitiful. I expect Foster will help Mallett tremendously, but they essentially started out the gate 0-14, and Foster was utilized little afterwards. I know backup QB is always the fan's favorite, but IMO Mallet has the next month to showcase his talent. If by November Savage is healthy and Mallett continues to struggle, we should seriously consider making a move.
Hoyer will probably start next week. Don't quote me on that. : ) You aren't the only one suggesting Savage but. . . Savage is out for the year. Savage is out for the year. Savage is out for the year. He is on injured reserve and is NOT coming back until next year.
not good but not over thanks to afc south. win on thursday and save your season or lose and fire up the tank.
Here is what's going to happen… Mallett is going to be "injured" meaning the Texans have no choice but to go with Hoyer. Saves Mallett some face from losing the QB job…and saves OB some face for his flip flopping of QBs. Hoyer starts Thursday.
That sounds about right...all I can say about that disaster yesterday is thank god we will seemingly have a slick transition from Astros baseball to Rockets basketball this season.
From that...not at all. The combination of Kubiak, Wade, and Peyton in the playoffs? 1-and-done. Then next year, you'll start to see the cracks in Wade's defense...and by year 3 they fall apart.
If they really wanted him, they would have did what it took to get him. You don't wait and hope he is there when you pick.
The Broncos are 4-0 despite Manning...he's been very average this year. As far as the Texans and Jimmy G...if they wanted him, they should have drafted him. If they thought he'd last until their 3rd pick, then they suck for taking that risk.
Many thanks for pointing this out...AGAIN! Sorry but they are stuck with Hoyer & Mallet for the season unless the reincarnation of Dan Marino magically materializes during this week's meetings.
They didn't have to IR Savage. He will recover before the season is over. Heck the original timetable was 6 weeks. Stupidass short sighted move

Yeah, I didnt understand that move at all. Same with Mike Mohamed. Very, very short sighted. This staff has made some incredibly questionable moves over the last year. I had faith in them during year 1, but it seems like they are just making poor decisions, one after the other.
