Nobody is saying the defense did well. Everyone has their role...and Mallett has been nothing but horrid as a starter.
And that's simply not true if you look at the games and how things happened. Again though, I don't expect solid QB analysis from this forum.
That seems to be the pattern this season. My confidence in BOB has been shattered and my instinct to give him the benefit of the doubt is about gone. There are 12 games left to see if he can at least get the team prepared to play it's best each week.
No matter who is starting QB, if the Texans come out and get a win against Indy on Thursday, this game will be forgiven.
Yeah, ok. You're on an island all by yourself...not only on this forum, but with sites like Football Outsiders and PFF...you know, companies that some NFL teams use for analysis.
It's completely true. I know the whiners will whine no matter what happens, they were whining when the Texans were 12-4...it's just what they do. I don't really care about the opinion of those people. I'm talking about normal Texans fans. If the Texans bounce back and beat Indy, putting themselves in a position to have a shot at winning the division, this game will be forgotten.
Why should we care when the Texans are so sorry? It's not like they can take advantage of the Colts losing.
No one whines about how the world has failed Mallet more than you. In a world full of competent people, Mallet is Tom Brady.
As much as I wanted Mallett to start and succeed I must admit that it was a failed experiment. He sucks. Regardless of all the noise around a qb he has to be able to throw the simplest of NFL passes with accuracy and touch. He has to be able to look beyond his first read before checking down. He does neither.
It's mind boggling that BOB traded for this guy and decided to start him for 3 games. Fans can see now what BOB should have seen in training camp and practice.
I accidentally slept through the game, can anybody give me a recap? I know we were down 42-0 at one point and mallett ended up getting benched and Hoyer came in and did decently. How did Novak look?
