rick smith is here to make sure. b.o.b doesn't pull a kubiak. Like when kubiak just had richard smith, never wanting to fire him. Smith proved himself to the Mcnair family by wacking the guy that brought him in. The players to be potentially drafted are still made by the head coach and defensive coordinators. It has always been like that.
Just tank this season and get the best quarterback we can. Doing that and hoping that the quarterback you select is your franchise guy for the next 10 years is much better than the infinite crap show we've been seeing the the past 14 years. 1 or 2 years of *****ty football then hopefully a good future > 10 more years of this sorry product
