Frickin' Rangers can't take care of business. What the hell, man?! Oh well, now it gives Stros a realistic chance to play them in a division tiebreaker game. How twisted the end of this season has been!!
Possible outcomes of tomorrow: 1) Play Monday in Arlington for Division 2) Play Monday in Houston vs. Angels for WC play-in game 3) Play Tuesday in Houston (vs Yankees) 4) Play Tuesday in NYC
We just took 2/3 from them like last week...and they'll be somewhat shell shocked blowing a multiple game lead going into the last weekend.
Richards has been pretty good against the rangers this season. He's 3-0 with a 2.25 era, a WHIP of 1.15, and a BAA of .204.
I think TEX gets off the deck today. That said, if they don't win this, and HOU wins today. Y'all thought 21-5 was a beat down? ****, what happens to TEX Monday might not be as bad in run differential, but it'll feel like a 16 run loss for them.
Didn't realize that. I now remember that NiTro was the scheduled pitcher for today. Man, this is fun...
If the thing is that the Astros put a lot of pressure n both the Yankees and Rangers yesterday. Now both have to go out for a win today. And the Angels have too much pride to lay down for the Rangers. One thng is that the Royals, Blue Jays, Rangers, Astros, Yankees, and Angels have been in a thick of it all playoff or positioning chase. Should be a real good AL playoffs.
Congrats Texas!
