He has already shown he has no respect for the Constitution. I know he feels passionately about this as do the liberals on this board. Why let the Constitution stand in his way of an executive order to ban or limit guns?
Man people need to wake up and realize it's time to ban guns. I used to think gun control was enough - but it's clear that the crazies are now going to just keep doing this and it seems to be happening at a higher and higher frequency.
Amnesty didn't violate the constitution. Nor does limiting guns. The constitution doesn't say what kind of arms you are allowed to have.

It says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State" then it says "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". If you can't understand the plain and simple meaning that the people have the right to keep and bear arms. It does not say you must belong to a militia. Only that you have the right to keep and bear arms to be used in a militia if needed.

To be honest, those laws infringe on the 2nd amendment. You may think I am a "gun nut' but truth is I own only two firearms, an old hunting rifle I haven't used in decades and an old .22 caliber rifle my dad gave me when I was little. I do not own a handgun or have a concealed carry license. I just can read the Constitution and see it grants this right to people who choose to exercise it. I do not put my faith in guns, I put it in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

No federal judge has ruled that Obama's action was unconstitutional. That was the opinion of one judge but it was not a ruling. The other judge ruled his action was illegal because he didn't have a public period for commenting. Thus far it's constitutionality has not been ruled upon. You should not let your political biased sources cloud the truth
