Will I ever get any of my packages or mail to get the locations that are supposed to get to without filing a complaint or repaying for an item I already paid for?

My mailbox is UPS mailbox (UPS Store), it never reached the store. It is located in an upper middle class area.

I wouldn't trust USPS with anything of importance. There's something wrong with a company whose idea of package tracking is "your package was picked up" and "your package was delivered". Or even worse, your package is sitting on your front porch and their wesbite still hasn't updated that it's been picked up. lol.

I hate it that Amazon seems to be using them more and more for shipping.

They lost a few of my Netflix movies a while back... losers... they didn't even admit to losing them. Had to go out and buy the DVDs myself and return them to Netflix before Netflix could reinstate my account. They're also slow with packages, still waiting for over a week on a package that was a priority ship.

Perhaps you shouldn't have mentioned your clutchfans moniker when talking with Netflix.

USPS is great. I love their service. The postal workers are very friendly and some of the nicest government employees I have ever met. Maybe its b/c I sometimes leave a bottle of cold water in the mailbox or give them Christmas gift money, but I have never had a problem with them.

Here's some more examples of their efficiency:

I did not know this until a girl (not dating) friend of mines and my mother both told on different occassions today that some of the mail actually goes to a central distribution center (for select cities) and if it is not claimed in 90 days...it is usually put in a postal service auction.

    Oh well, f#ck

Though I am filing a complaint (as we speak) against the particular post office that allegedly sent my package to a specified UPS store, as the seller is giving me another product for it and will go harass the people at their central control station and mail recovery tomorrow afternoon, during lunch.

Though I figure it will be like trying to hit a mosquito with rock standing 15 feet away.

Their customer service blows, but their Priority Flat Rate boxes work very well and are cheap for many of the Internet orders we fill.

That's putting it lightly for them.

Amazing in this day and age these guys can't get their **** together- I get packages on time about 50% of the time. The other 50%, it's late.

I think USPS is great. Never had any problem with them. Their customer service is top notch. The rates are excellent.

They sent my package to a house a few streets over. I went over there and the people had already opened it up despite my name all over the outside of the box. They opened the box inside despite my name on the sticker outside. Pretty sure they were planning to keep it and never giving it back until I asked for it. Carelessness by a UPSP worker.

Did you just go knocking on doors until you found it?

No. I had received their package. Felt like an article of clothing in bubblewrap but I didn't open it because I had the common sense to look at the name on the outside. These rude people not only opened the box inside my package but opened up the item in the plastic bag inside. The street names in my neighborhood all look the same so I can see how the USPS worker could screw up.

This was back in June. I sent a birthday card (singing card, which makes the envelope kinda thick) from Georgia to Houston. They never received my card after a week! However, they did receive a plastic bag with the envelope ripped open and the birthday card gone. I'm guessing those a**holes thought there was money in it. POS.

Historically, I've had really great luck with USPS. There was a period about 2 years ago for about 2 weeks when they changed delivery people that things went all to hell.

I've also entered a rough patch over the last 3 or so months with things never showing up or being damaged. Once CD was returned to sender after having been run over by a car several times.

I would say for most people USPS is great, most of the time. But if you get a bad person in your delivery chain, everything goes to hell all at once.
