Y'all are good people to schedule Rice and show them some of that PUF fund love. Has to be boring as hell to play them so often.

Seriously? UT is one of the few teams that doesn't schedule 3 cupcakes a year. It's not even a good argument.

I wasn't arguing with anyone. Everyone schedules a Rice or two. Just thought it was nice to keep that money in-state against an incredibly boring sports school with a ****ty field.

In other UT news, Under Armour is set to pitch Texas on becoming their shoe/apparel provider later this week. Nike's exclusive negotiating period ends today but will still have a right to first refusal.

Figures are expected to be in excess well over $200M for 10 years. To put into context, Michigan signed a record 15 year-$169M deal with Nike earlier this summer.

Thoughts on Nike vs. UA? UA is currently putting out a superior product IMO but Nike is still king.

It's kind of crazy that a single NBA star can generate far more than a major university from apparel deals.

Kanye should enroll at an Adidas school or something and generate PR off it. Or create a music program/become a professor. You're a genius.

Nobody outside the US really cares or knows who Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are.

Nike doesn't get exclusive rights to the ut trademark. If they did, it would.be worth a lot more. They only get to make the official uniforms.

From a quality standpoint, I think UA has surpassed Nike but this will come down to the highest bidder and marketing proposal IMO. The pitch is supposedly happening this Sunday and would be really interested in seeing what UA comes with.

I could be wrong, but UT would need to sign with Jordan Brand, not Nike, if he wants J's on their shoes.

But recruiting will definitely be a factor. Nike conducts a lot of the premier football/basketball camps and ability to freeze UT or UT coaches out of them would be a big deal. Not exactly sure how that works though.

Theoretically, the Horns should win today. I don't care about rankings. All I've heard all week is my TCU friend b*ching and moaning (and inflating) about TCU's injuries. If they are really that injured, there is no excuse for us not to win.

TCU will have to fall asleep for UT to win.

The defense side has been devastated with injuries....

Regardless, the Offense should dominate Texas....and perhaps, maybe some defensive plays being made with the young guys filling in getting the reps through the season...

Speaking of which, Turnover and quick 7pts for Boykin and TCU!

We really have no business being competitive with TCU, unless they're out the majority of their starters. Their offense is much better than our poor defense, and our offense is nothing special even with Heard's running ability.

Unfortunately, I think this will be ugly for us.

Missed PAT 2 weeks ago. Bobbled long snap last week.

Already a poor long snap for a safety and a kickoff out of bounds. Such fail.
