    This is such a weird story. I cannot imagine someone passing like this. Being stuck in a chimney in your last moments of life, knowing you are not getting out.

    Seems like he must have been trying to break in through the chimney.

    It's so bizarre anyone would attempt to get in through a chimney given the inherent risks of just getting stuck. It's even more bizarre he would try it at an isolated cabin like that.

    Yeah, if you had water, you can go a shockingly long time, but without water, it wouldn't have been much more than what you're saying, I think. What a horrifying, horrifying thing to consider. And what a monumentally stupid thing to do. It's so crazy that it makes you wonder if it was some weird form of suicide.
