The other game in question played out like it did because it was already determined that Marwin was going to stay in to play 1B, as Carter was PH for by Rasmus (who it the HR).

They need to hurry the game up. They should know in advance if a reliever will be switched if the batter switches. No more useless warm up pitches then. They just take those players out without waiting forever.
