Except that they already have. Under several coaches and during multiple eras. But aside from that, good point!
Apparently we just landed a 4-star LT former HS All-American from South Cackalacky who spent last year at Juco after some legal troubles. Not sure how much eligibility he has left (I think 2 years?), but we beat out ASU, Louisville, and Ole Miss for his services. Herman gets a lot of praise, and rightly so, but the staff he has assembled is probably the best we've had since Yeoman. Just top quality through and through. Going to be tough to keep them all together. But they definitely have us punching well above our weight.
then they might as well do a home and home with us at TDECU and Doak Campbell stadium. They pulled the same suck **** against us in baseball this upcoming season only scheduling to play us if they become the home team and if the game is played at a neutral site.
We didn't spend 120+ million dollars on a stadium to play a home game at Bob McNair's house. We're also not interested in 2:1 deals. Rice is always available if you want to bend somebody over the table.
Just got home from the game. The beatdown we'd hoped for. Guys behind me said that James Harden was on the Coog's sideline, but I never saw him.
He was there during the halftime break. I was in that section and he was there taking photos and took a photo with the Coogs fans (it's on his instagram). Apparently Lawson was there with him, but no one noticed him or called him out lol

SI: Can Tom Herman, Ed Oliver make Houston a recruiting power in Texas? CBS: Trials at Ohio State fueling Houston's resurgence under Tom Herman
He'll be here longer than just this year. But 2016 or 2017 if he/they keep it up? Absolutely could see him leaving. What potential job openings are there after this year? Louisville? Just hired him. Miami? Virginia Tech? Iowa State? Illinois? Maryland? Purdue? Rutgers? Arizona State? If they fire Graham or Graham looks elsewhere as he's known to do. Washington State? Arkansas? Auburn? South Carolina? Tennessee?
I think if he does leave he is not leaving for just any job it has to be a top 25 traditional power. He isn't leaving for half the teams on your list. Its going to be for a Texas, Alabama or similar job.
I hope he stays around for at least four yrs, but he's definitely going to have opportunities come his way.
