who said he's struggling? he's 2nd on the team in receiving behind Cobb obviously with only 3 less targets. Only thing Jones has for him is the TD's hes caught in the first two games. The last game Jones only had one catch the entire game and it was the TD at the beginning of the game. If Aaron Rodgers is your QB and you're getting a high number of targets the TD's will come. But judging by the players you were able to get on one team from your post, that probably isn't too competitive with 3/4 WR1's and Bell on the same team.
46 receiving yards per game doesn't excite me much--yes, Adams will score touchdowns here and there, and he is getting plenty of targets, so there is some upside, but it's not that great because Jones will steal a lot of those TDs. We have a pretty good amount of money on the league--I just got lucky getting AJ Green in the third round because of Nelson, Evans, and Gore all getting picked earlier. 10 team league is really shallow.
I'm not sold on Carr but I'd drop Stafford to pick up somebody. Stafford is done. Carr's not a bad choice though. Tyrod Taylor is a guy I'm high on.
Traded Melvin Gordon and James Jones for Alshon Jeffery and Lagarrette Blount. This is a league that starts 3 WRs plus flex. 0.5 PPR. This gives me Odell, AJ Green and Jeffery (assuming he can stay healthy with this hamstring) as my 3 WRs. At RB I have Arian, Devonta Freeman, TJ Yeldon, Tevin Coleman and now Blount Good deal? Or too risky with the hamstring? I know those can be nagging.
Are you high on Blount? I have him, but I'm not sure if I should keep him on my bench or sell high after this performance this week. I already have Lacy, Ingram, and Ivory, so I was thinking of using him to upgrade at WR or QB....
If someone is going to pay a lot for Blount, take it. He will likely have big weeks but also weeks where he has 2 carries for 6 yards. You just never know with a Patriots running back. It is good to have depth at running back, though. That's a good problem to have.
So I was up by 24 going into last night with Maclin left and I'm facing Rodgers and its a 6 point passing TD league. Midway through the 3rd quarter I'm already down by 12 and I've given up as Maclin is putting up a fat goose egg and has another pass clank off his hands. Then what do you know? Not only does the b*stard break the Chiefs WR futility streak, he adds 141 yards, with the last 8 yarder putting me up by .6 points to win the matchup.
Stupid Rodgers... I was up by 30+ pts going into last night and the other guy only had Rodgers left to play and of course he kills it and puts up 44pts...
Im getting offered Tyler Eifert for Jordan Cameron and Jeremy Maclin My roster: QB: Russell Wilson RB1: Le'Veon Bell RB2: Arian Foster WR: Randall Cobb WR: AJ Green TE: Jordan Cameron D/ST: Jets Kicker: Josh Brown Bench: Rishard Matthews Karlos Williams Ameer Abdulllah Allen Robinson Antonio Gates Jeremy Maclin David Johnson
Maclin made me look good for sitting starks. Lacy and Starks abusing the chiefs early made me regret sitting starks early. I hope this is a sign of good things to come for Maclin.
Good deal... I had to start Matt Jones and TJ Yeldon this past weekend... Lol. I have D. Thomas, Cobb, and James Jones at WR... And even with my RB situation (D. Murray, Ivory, M. Jones, Yeldon, Foster) I wouldn't make that trade regardless of Jeffrey's hamstring. Jones has an elite QB and he's looking like he's going to post another 14 TD season. Pick up Karlos Williams if you need a RB to start for week 4.
Look at this team: where can I improve and how can I do it? Matt Ryan Arian Foster Eddy Lacy Frank Gore Jordan Matthews Antonio Brown Demaryius Thomas Travis Kelce Jets D Justin Tucker Bench ===== Justin Forsett Mike Evans Moncrief Palmer Antonio Gates
how many teams are in this league? that can't be a 12 team league. that looks like a pretty stacked team and you can't even improve much. Only knock would maybe be gore but you have foster and he's on the verge of returning this sunday or next thursday.
I have been wheeling and dealing like Morey this season. My biggest philosophy has been selling high on players and butting low. 9 team league though so the talent isn't spread too thin or too saturated
I personally think that 10 teams is about ideal because I don't like seeing some teams just suffer through not having any talent. That and there isn't a bye week. I drafted Lacy in the first when everyone was drafting elite QBs and was able to snag Antonio Brown in the second and DT in the third. (We do a serpentine draft and somehow brown made it through 18 picks and I was able to draft DT immediately after)
not a fan of shallow leagues. you don't get punished for drafting the wrong players and don't get rewarded for finding gems.
