You don't think that just MAYBE the things that have happened since then have influenced that? He's been almost constantly attacked since then solely due to the color of his skin.... Also, I think most of that is just trolling, intentionally trying to piss off the morons who go at him.
The reasons he's been attacked since he killed an unarmed youth were not solely because of the color of his skin. LOL. I do agree that he's trolling somewhat, but who cares? That doesn't excuse racist crap like was posted about here.
If the kid was white there wouldn't have been a backlash, it would have been viewed as what it was from day one, a violent kid attacking someone who then defended themselves and that would have been that. Since the kid was black and he was identified as "white", even the president weighs in on the case and the Hispanic man has had people coming after him constantly since then. I'm sure that bred quite a bit of resentment. I'm not trying to "excuse" the racist crap he's trolling people with, just explaining why he's doing it most likely. It doesn't mean that he shot someone in self defense out of racism. Is he a POS? IMO, yes, but I haven't seen anything that would suggest that anyone in the world who attacked him that night would be any less dead than that Trayvon kid.
It could be argued that a white kid walking in the neighborhood wouldn't have had the police called on them, nor would they have been followed by George, which would have prevented the whole situation. But if in his mind he felt blacks were more likely to be criminals and suspected TM because he was black, then there is a problem. There is pretty good evidence to show GZ's low opinion of black people.
No, not at all. You could argue it, but it wouldn't be based on anything solid, just your feels. Again, you do know his great grandfather is black right? There's tons of evidence of him trolling people after the fact, but what evidence is there of a racial bias before the fact? Maybe there is some actual evidence that I'm not aware of, but really it's irrelevant. When you are attacked, you can defend yourself, simple as that. Even if he harbored some secret bias against black people like his great grandfather, that doesn't justify Trayvon's attack and it doesn't invalidate his act of self defense.
George Zimmerman is obviously a racist **** and if you're still bending over backwards to defend his wimpy ass, you're a racist **** as well.
If the kid had been white zimmerman never would have followed and attacked him .So stop your trolling man.
Zimmerman never attacked anyone that night and your baseless assumption that he wouldn't have followed the kid if he was white is fun, but doesn't really further the conversation in any meaningful or intelligent manner. GZ called the cops A LOT as a neighborhood watchman, was fairly paranoid about people wandering around the neighborhood.
I don't care what race his grandfather was. He obviously doesn't take that into account, and it seems a wild grasp that you would try and bring it up in order to save the nonsense you're spouting.
Not based on anything solid, just your feels. But let's ask another question earlier in the cause-and-effect chain: Would he have been just likely to suspect and follow a white teenager as a black one?
How do you know who attacked anyone, GZ was a over the top want to be cop Martin wasn't wandering around the neighborhood he was walking back to his dads house. There are many that think the same thing about it being a white kid he never would have followed him.
Sounds like you are suggesting a maybe as a defense or excuse for his behaviors. That's extremely rare for you. I don't ever recall you use that tactic when it comes to the side you disagree with. Actually, quite the opposite. You are always quite sure, with no maybe, when it comes to the other side with or without much data. You are quick to jump to judge the side you don't agree with absolute conviction and you are now suggesting an excuse for why a racists is a racists.
Maybe if he showed an ounce of remorse and wasn't bragging about it and tried to redeem himself people would leave him alone. Of course people are going to attack him lol, he killed someone. Is showing 0 remorse for it (absolutely 0 remorse and is basically rubbing it in the face of Martin's family now) and is bragging about how tough a guy he is because he killed someone. Zimmerman is not the victim here. He killed someone and the resentment he faces is part of the consequences for doing that.
You really shouldn't be trying to play devil's advocate for George Zimmerman. Zimmerman is and was a p.o.s., a faux tough-guy with a Napoleon complex, some dude with some serious issues, not even a rent-a-cop who took it on himself to play vigilante, to whom even the police dispatcher said, "DO NOT FOLLOW HIM". Basically, "We're the cops, you aren't." Did Trayvon Martin act the fool by attacking Zimmerman? Quite obviously. He should have just stayed the f*** away. If I had a gun in that situation, would I have shot Martin to defend myself? Of course. But Zimmerman provoked the incident and was greatly culpable. Naturally in Florida Zimmerman was practically a hero. By the way, calling black people "slime" is a pretty telling comment on how you feel about a race. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...cture-trayvon-martin-corpse-article-1.2376777 This was just the latest online lunacy from Zimmerman, who has grown increasingly unhinged since he was acquitted of second-degree murder for killing Martin after a scuffle in a Florida gated community. Last month, Zimmerman replied to a critic on Twitter by taunting, “We all know how it ended for the last moron that hit me. Give it a whirl cupcake.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...trayvon-martins-body_560965b1e4b0dd85030846e5 “Cops lives matter, black slime doesnt [sic]”. (something Zimmerman tweeted) Zimmerman's Twitter account made headlines last month when he referred to President Barack Obama as an “ignorant baboon.” Zimmerman's former wife said he threatened her family with a gun, but she opted not to press charges. Later that year, his ex-girlfriend told police he pointed a gun at her face and smashed her coffee table, though she later recanted the accusations. Last year, he was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly hurling a bottle of wine at another girlfriend.
I think people are going to change their minds if we just keep saying the same thing over and over again.
Why would there be any remorse? He shot someone that attacked him. What is there to feel remorse about?
