I wish we could sue over that game or get some kind of hearing or at least a thorough response.

That said, they did gain 100 yards more than us.

For those who may not understand why myself and others are complaining about the refs, here is a video with most (if not all) of the penalties called in the game.

Some of those were the correct call...but the ones they got wrong were game changers and hopefully leads to a review of that crew. I've played soccer for over 35 years and I've never see a ref flop before.

I reffed soccer for several years. The intent for a person to flop in soccer is to get an advantage over an opponent - gamesmanship. I don't have any idea why a referee would intend to purposely cause a penalty on a coach like that.

That lateral looks like a lateral. You can look at the QB's feet and where they are in respect to the yard signs and mark the area just off his right foot as the release point. He didn't side arm it.

Then look at the hands and feet of the reviver and they are pretty close to lining up. It just looks bad because the WR run up to get the ball. The Titans Bills is a good example of that call called correctly but honestly it's so close that I think this one could have gone either way. The fact that his camera is at an angle doesn't help.

After years of UT homer officials, I find it the height of comedy that UT-Austin fans are complaining about the officiating.

    Get a clue idiots.

It's been a well known fact that the Big 12 has had terrible officiating crews for a long time now. Don't see why Texas fans are blowing up over it now.

The only idiot is yourself. Rice got its ass kicked this year, and we didn't need any help from the refs.

Over the years, there have been bad calls that may have affected conference games. However, in every circumstance that I can remember, it was a single call. And the call favored UT about 50% of the time and its opponent the other 50%. This is different because it was completely one-sided, and multiple calls (and no-calls) had a significant effect on the game. It's not just a "oh that call might have affected the game" kind of situation this time.

I know you're just trolling the UT people, and that's cool. (as a Rice U athletic supporter, that's pretty much all you have). Did you actually watch the game? What is your justification or reasoning or whatever for how they called that defensive holding penalty? Forget everything else, just tell me about that play.

Wasn't expecting any worldy admissions but to say none of the mistakes were egregious is laughable. Bad calls are part of the game but this particular crew seems to have a history of them. This may sound bratty but if I'm Texas, I'm in both Andersons and Bowlsbys office telling them these guys better not be on their schedule rest of the year.

You needed 3 red zone turnovers from Rice and a punt return to win. Rice obliterated you in terms of yardage gained on offense. Now that's sad.

That's some bull. A defensive holding on a running play? Ef that.

Also, the big 12's response is predictable and sad.

This conference just rubs me the wrong way.

I'm livid over the defensive holding, but the unsportsmanlike penalty Strong got is just mind blowing. What a BS flag by the ref. Coaches do that all the time.

Incompetence usually affects both teams equally. So many blown and questionable calls affecting one team alone becomes highly suspect.

Big 12's response is exactly what everyone expected. No admission of fault, nothing corrected and the status quo continues.

All that matters to me is that UT has beaten Rice 13 times in a row. Our record is 72-21-1. This is our worst team by record since the 1950s, and you still couldn't touch us. Go back to the A&M thread, texxx.
