If yall didnt hear Patrick's interview, you really should...He has me amped up... The guy exudes adrenaline... You can tell he is chomping at the bits to make this season special. The other guys know that as well. This team looks deadly focused...And yes health will play a huge factor, but the hunger is real. The focus seen by the guards is real. I cant wait. GO Rockets!!!!!!!!!

Jason Terry talks like a college professor. They should just let him do every interview after a game I would love to see a college essay written by harden Patrick is my favorite player. What Patrick wanted to say the whole time, "tell curry he ain't **** and he's lucky I was injured or I would of locked his ass up"
I like #1. Was #2 an area statistically they were really bad in last year? I don't recall. They obviously go together. If you reduce turnovers and get better at stopping transition, you are eliminating the other team's easy baskets, which should skyrocket your defensive capabilities.

Ugh. I just want one season where we're all healthy or at least all the players are healthy for when it counts the most.
Transition defense and defensive rebounding were the sole reasons we weren't an elite defense. I remember quite a few times in the GSW series where we allowed Draymond Green to dribble the length of the court and create easy opportunities. And these situations weren't usually off of turnovers.
It's very nice that they have pinpointed these weaknesses. Last year during the RS they were average in transition defence (72%percentile) but the possesions were above average because of the turnovers. 200 possesions above average. (3rd in the league). They have many tools to help in trans defence like KJ and Ariza (it's the job of the wings and the forwards usually) . More important with the decline in turnovers because of Lawson the importance of trans defence will go down.
