It's all one great big giant dumpster fire. Pissing and moaning over who's the biggest piece of trash in flames is not really productive.
Yep, just give them a few more games to work on chemistry, accuracy, and just generally playing the game of football.
Seriously though, why do you continue to troll this forum? It's obvious you aren't a Texans fan, don't you have anything better to be doing?
Do you or do you not realize that you're the troll of the forum? A little self awareness goes a long way. It's clear your a Mallet Only Fan, not a Texans fan.
Screens can work from time to time but we always seem to use them on 3rd and some kind of double digit yardage which is never-endingly frustrating.
Mostly agree with this post. Texans got lucky with some TAM dropped passes. Texans need to get more pressure on the QB. Clowney easily looks decent. Good to see the run game doing something without Arian. Generally, good coaching allows teams to improve over the course of a season. Texans will improve within this season. We will get healthier and players will get more comfortable in the system.
Four tackles yesterday, and its not all about the box score. He's flying around both on defense and special teams. Weknes he wasn't great at covering, so why should we expect him to be three games into his career?
Of course there isn't, Mr.Clutch is nothing but a troll and that's pretty much his go-to since he doesn't know enough about football to be a more effective troll.
Glad we got a win...but ultimately this was one bad team at home squeaking out a win against another bad team on the road. I wasn't impressed with either of them, honestly...but I was definitely happy to see that we were able to run the ball in the second half. I don't see the Texans beating the Falcons next week...but I'd love to be wrong.
Play-calling was meh at points. There was some scoring left out there esp the Washington TD that could have happened. Get Brown, X, and Foster back and let's do this.
Bubble screens never seem to work for us, but we call them SOOO often. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Yup. I'm not a big fan of Goodsey's play calling to this point. Maybe he's just trying to protect his young offense, but man...open things up a little bit.
Im more concerned about our defense moving forward than our offense. We'll get Foster, Brown, and XSF back…that should help quite a bit. However, our defense has all it's key guys there and we just can't get any pressure on the QB. When we play any competent QBs, we will get carved up…Luck looks terrible compared to what his standards are, and thats purely because he is getting pressured…against the Texans, he'll go back to being Andrew Luck. Same thing will be the case for Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, etc… We can't afford to have invested so much in the defense and not be able to generate a pass rush. Through the first 3 weeks, it's been a pathetic showing in that regard and something that NEEDS to change if the Texans have any plans on hitting 8+ wins on the season.
