Carlos Gomez Mike Fiers Scott Kazmir ROI = 1 Mike Fiers no hitter. There's that. Kazmir diddly poo Gomez did nothing, "got hot", got injured during BP and time is running out on a return. I'd like a do-over and send those prospects elsewhere.
Fiers has been very good for us. He is 2 and 1 with a 3.18 ERA and a whip of 1.059 (very good). And numbers would be even better if we take that relieve appearance he had to pitch because McCullers could not make it out of the first in Arllington.
Agreed. The supposed JAG has been the most productive guy. Sucks for Gomez. He was just beginning to find his swing.

lol when we traded for kazmir everyone said we had a steal and laughed at the blue jays for over paying for Price.
wonder what Kazmir will get this offseason. SP is generally at a premium, I'm guessing he'll land something along the lines of 4Y/65MM
except there was a lot of talk at the time of the trade of him being willing to sign here because it's home. there's a price i'd be willing to pay for Kazmir...but he's likely to beat that on the open market, so godspeed to him.
Him and David Price are good friends. What if it took Luhnow signing him to a 18mil/yr deal in order to attract Price? Would you still do it?
