This isn't the D&D, so I'll mostly keep my opinion to myself. I love Lance for what he did on the ballfield, and my opinion of him as a player isn't going to be destroyed because of this.
Ridiculous that Berkman is being ostracized by the left... Where does it all end? Women wear pants and t shirts. So practically any man who wants to can go into the women's restroom and just clam they are transgender... The Internet is fueled by p*rn. This means most men are checking it out on line. I don't trust men taking the high ground when it comes to getting eye candy. Being in a restroom environment is very intimate. People fart, you can hear them peeing, etc. way to make life miserable for women. But probably serves Women right for thinking liberals had their best interest at hand. A bathroom has nothing to do with what gender you identify with or how you feel. It has to do with the physical body parts that you have. Once you have had an operation and have different body parts, you are allowed in the correct bathroom. It's very very simple. Lance Berkman is absolutely correct, and I am proud of him as an Astros fan for taking a stance.
That is absolutely not what he said. What would you call a non-transgendered man that pretends to be a transgendered woman in order to gain access to a female locker room? That sounds like a troubled person to me and the law allows that to happen. ... And in reality, a true transgendered person does not belong in a woman's bathroom anyway. If they want to make a gender-neutral bathroom, I have no problem with that. My daughter in high-school should not have to see a male undressing in the locker room whether they feel like they are a girl or not.

And to that I say: If a man wants to get into a woman's restroom/locker room, he'll do so with or without a law in place. Anybody who is that perverted doesn't need some anti-discriminatory law to take advantage of. In any event, this belongs in the D&D, but come on people. Don't be so naive.

Even with the law, people would STILL be highly suspicious if a man just walked into a woman's restroom. The Law doesn't make anything easier or harder, people are just using it as a basis to discriminate against Transgender individuals. Gender neutral bathrooms are law in many places, and I haven't heard much concerning a spike in bathroom related crimes.
How is this discriminating against transgenders? Men's restrooms are made for people with a penis and women's restrooms are made for people with a vagina. Since when is not giving someone special privileges to break a rule discriminating against them? Transgender is someone that identifies as the other sex but has not had an operation, etc. What part of transgender am I missing? If someone had an operation to turn themselves into a female then they can and should go into the female bathroom under current rules.
Uh, if someone has a male part and dresses like a woman because they identify as a woman then how is it giving them special privileges to use the women's bathroom? Do you have any evidence, ever, of a transgender assaulting someone in a bathroom? They're far more likely to be assaulted by a man while being dressed as a woman in the men's bathroom than they are likely to assault a woman in the women's bathroom. I don't think some of you have really engaged your brains on this subject. This is just all fear mongering ignorance. This is just like the stupidity of having gay people in a locker room.
