I'm sorry to ruin the party of an 0-2 team who could very likely lose to a team that many picked to be the worst in the league. Y'all continue the #hosutonsports party!!

I don't know how anyone could watch the last two games and feel like this is for sure a .500 team.

I think Im right in the middle of pessimism and optimism.

On one hand, if we get healthy, our offense will look better...and as Clowney gets more into the flow of things, him and Watt can really make things happen.

On the flip side, if we have to keep dealing with injuries that throw a loop for our offense (No running game), then we will struggle to move the ball all year. Also, Mallett has to not be terrible.

That's pretty much where I stand too. I'm still excited about Sunday Football (Texans), even after two extremely boring games. Still with the glimpse of hope, that the hammer may develop into something.....gotta get that run game going, and O-line healthy....

    Hopkins practicing today is HUGE.

At this point, I'll settle for just being entertained.

    Me too.

Bad News: still no answer at QB, Foster hurt, team is now 9-9 under BOB

Good News: colts are 0-2, Foster will be back behind healthy line soon, Clowney coming along, 8-8 could possibly win the division (key word POSSIBLY).

Vegas odds have us at -7... just because you "wouldn't be surprised if we lost" doesn't mean we will. Sorry that some of us want to still watch the games and root for the team. 2 weeks in is typically too early to throw in the towel.

I will watch nearly every second of it as well, hoping they win, just like I have since 2002. I also don't hold my opinions up to the standard that they actually predict the future. Not once did I say that my not being surprised if they lost means they will 100% lose. Not enjoying or seeing much reason for excitement after the first two games doesn't make me any less of a fan than you.

This is the season right here. Texans win and the get a little momentum going and get Foster and Brown back. They lose confidence is shot and they are looking at an 0-5 start.

    13 - 10 Texans (assuming Hopkins plays)

Actually, being a .500 team is not the worse thing,

the worse thing is your fan base hoping for a .500 season to be this team's ceiling.

No wonder Rick Smith can keep playing golf in his office for so many years.

Keep pressure on Winston. Give that kid a clean pocket and he can pick you apart.

Front office will never have a motivation to actually do anything to better this team. As long as each Sunday is a sell-out and this city continues to go ape**** crazy over the Texans regardless of the product on the field, we'll continue to get the same vanilla product.

That might be too many wins to draft Goff

I don't get this argument. Since when has a loyal fan base been a bad thing?

"The Texans will never be winners. Their fanbase is just too damn good!" -- Sounds silly doesn't it? The fans' influence begins and ends with home field advantage. So please keep showing up at NRG every Sunday. I sure would if I could afford to.

A loyal and vibrant fanbase hasn't, nor will it ever, prevent a team from winning.

Well if we stop going to games, maybe Rick and Bill get fired quicker.

If we keep giving Bob money, we are stuck with this for two more years, at least.

so this happened to the astros and now everyone is called a fair weather fan... WHAT GIVES?

how do you show your displeasure with an organization without being a fair weather fan at the same time?
