I guess... I just won't ever panic because my expectations aren't high. I'm more realistic. Do I think we should win? Of course. I think Mallett can get it done if our o line holds up. Our defense obviously can be better.
I had us going 9-7 before the season. Now? sheesh who knows. What 5 wins? Jags(2x) Titans(2x) and another random? Saints?
I'm hoping for a nice break out game offensively, after back to back clunkers. These first two games have been so damn boring/frustrating....please offense....click....for once. Lack of Foster....Brown....and Hopkins? ugh...maybe Washington will make up for the drops this game, and be able to stay on his feet when he catches a for sure TD bomb from Mallet....last week that was embarrassing.
I do hope that we come out and know what we're doing the opening series on offense. It's a little frustrating to "gameplan" all week and then botch the first play on running a wrong route or the play getting blown up.
I guess I am old school and I know some hate to give props to BUD but . . .the Oilers did sit McNair behind Cody Fricking Carlson Mallet Sat behind Brady . . .. . so I guess alot of Expectations are upon him Rocket River
McNair sat behind Chris Chandler. McNair was drafted after Carlson's last season. Also, while McNair was clearly worthy of being drafted that high (#3), if any QB needs time to adjust to the NFL game, it's one coming out of the SWAC.
I don't know if they could beat the jags twice. They may be able to beat the colts At home. Without a running game it's hard to keep the defense honest
Guaranteeing they'll beat any team after what they've shown so far is pretty comical. I don't think they'll go 0-16, but there's not a team out there that would surprise me if they beat the Texans.
If we had our left side of the line healthy, I would feel comfortable guaranteeing a win this Sunday. We would have won last week too.
In a league where last week the Jags, Browns, Bucs, Raiders and Redskins all got victories, I am hard pressed to find but just a few games in which I'd ever guarantee an outcome. And the Texans are just not the kind of team I would ever guarantee a win for.
You're overreacting. Sure, the losses will pile up quickly if we don't get healthy fast esp on the offensive line but we still play in the AFC South. We have a lot of winnable games left on the schedule.
Hey Debbie... How's your sister Nancy? Sheesh, there is realism, and there is just sucking the fun out of the room.
