face palm...really bro??? Hartford is the capital city of Connecticut...Think you meant Harvard...which is in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Jeremy Lin just did an AMA over on /r/nba on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/3m982x/hey_rnba_its_jeremy_lin_ask_me_anything/ Some interesting tidbits: "Does not being recognized as an NBA player get under your skin or is it actually kinda nice being able to stay low key?" It depends. It's nice at times that I'm the same size and I look like a normal dude so I can walk around and not draw the attention that a 7-footer would. But sometimes it's frustrating that when I try to walk through arenas (even before road games), they will let in all my teammates but stop me. It just reminds me how far we have to go as a society in terms of racial stereotypes. People made a big deal about the Hornets security not letting me in but that happens multiple times every year on whatever team I'm on." "So, do you think you've changed, bro? Haha you know whats funny is after we released that video, my Rockets teammates would always say "you've changed, bro" whenever I would do anything. Pretty cool that they were fans of my youtube videos" "You can play on any team, during any era, which team and era do you choose? To be honest, I would love to have played with Yao. Not only do I think our games would complement each other but I just think for two full Asians to share the NBA court on the same team would have been epic and ground-breaking"
Lin would be horrendous with Yao. He would make Rafer look like Magic Johnson. What? A jump pass to Yao? stolen by Mo Williams?
The only Asian stereotypes I'm aware of are that they are good at math and have smaller....... Note: I am not perpetuating these ugly stereotypes. I'm just commenting on the scholarly topic of Asian stereotypes.

LOL @ Lin thinking his game would complement Yao's well. Yes, because he takes care of the ball and is an instinctive passer into the post. *laugh* How about a reality check chump? You just signed a peanut contract with one of the worst franchises in the NBA because no one else wanted you as a free agent. What part of that sounds like an excellent complement to (at the time) one of the best centers in the league?
Playing victim again through his AMA and talking about racism. No difference between Lin and his fans (dumb, dimwitted and delusional)
This was actually a bad post on my part, and I wish I could delete it. Though I don't believe the stereotypes, I think repeating them is pretty bad in itself, and I apologize.
Zboy stop posting you have no credibility here. Multiple sources confirmed that multiple teams have offered multi-million dollar contracts to Lin but he turned them down and decided to take a pay cut. nice try though
LOL... one of the worst posters on this forum trying to call someone else out on credibility? That's just hilarious.
