    You should try getting a group around here for volunteer work. You think trying to get a few members around here for a pick-up game would be a piece of cake. :p

    I would be down to ball with ya, but I have 2 roadblocks right now:

    1) Not sure if I can 100% quite yet with my back. Still volatile.
    2) And I'm in New York, ha.

    This thread needs to be kept alive though.

    Need some new basketball friends, don't have any friends that play anymore. Just have to hope there's people at the YMCA(Augusta/SanFelipe) What courts do you guys play at?

    Also, what's the age group/size of most of the pickup games? Because i'm 5'8 130 and therefor can't really guard large grown men well.

    Me and some friends recently started playing at the outdoor court that is part of a school right next to that YMCA on weekdays around 6:30pm. I hate outdoor but it's good cardio.

    If i didn't work weekends, I'd be down. I get 1 out of every 3-4 Sundays off. So maybe then.

    Yeah those are some tough courts to play on, slippery slab, bad rims, wooden back boards and plenty of wide open space for the ball to fly out on.

    But a free court to play on nevertheless, will you guys be playing today?
